Good Morning Y'all. Each an every body has yourselves a great and wonderful day, by cracky.

Woked up hungry this mornin. Thinkin pulled pork, pico de gallo, and mozzarella omelete. A mix up of BBQ, Mexican, Italian and French. That ought to confuse the heck out of the hungry.

Good Tuesday to ya.

We made it through Monday.

My wife invited two ladies over yesterday to give some knitting lessons. They were wanting to learn how to make socks. Wool socks seem to be popular with women in the winter. Anyway Mrs Carrera was figuring it was two ladies that did not know each other and was hopeful they would like each other. Come to find out one ladies son used to date the other ladies daughter. They were almost in-laws but the kids never did get engaged and finally broke up under good terms. So the ladies knew each other and chatted amicably.

When in HS I dated these two girls at the same time. Their fathers worked at the same place and in fact, were in the same office and shared the same secretary. Their parents were friends and golfed, dinner parties, cards, vacations etc together.

As far as I know the girls themselves didn't know I was dating them both. If they did they never said anything. I would go to pick one up and her parents would sometimes be getting ready to go do something with the other girls parents or tell us not to come home too early because the other parents were coming over to play cards. Found out the Dad's worked together when I went with one of the girls to visit her Dad at his office because we were in the neighborhood. I was introduced to the other Dad and he acted like he had never met me before. The Dad's always greeted me with a big smile.

Just saw a news article that Porsche is adopting Apple Carplay and NOT android. Because support for android requires connection to all sorts of on board diagnostics and performance data so it can be collected by Google. Carplay only requires info on whether or not the car is in motion.

Mornin', y'all. It looks like a beautiful day is on tap here in sunny SoCal. Can't wait to spend much of it indoors, working on the house. Still, it beats the hell out of going to the office (back in DC).

So you put butter on a slice of bread add some sprinkles and it's called Fairy Bread? Why would you do that?

When I was a kid I made a peanut butter and bologna sandwich, I still like em.

I always thought those fireworks that snap when you throw them down would be awesome dropped out the back over a parking lot or other hard surface. Cluster bomb! I tried it with a model rocket but couldn't get accurate enough to have them fall on the street at my parent's house. There are lots of plans out there for building aircraft from flat foam. I have seen guys use them as targets for both airsoft and full auto spoon meets.

We have a local club but I haven't decided if I am going to join or not.

At fun fly competitions we dropped water balloons. Just rubber band a styrofoam or paper cup to the plane, put stuff in it and you got a bomber. It was a lot more accurate to do a dip with the pane to get the water balloon to come out of the cup than to roll the plane upside down.

A couple of guys had planes with a bomb bay with servo actuated doors for dropping stuff. They dropped candy for the kids at events families attended.

One guy rigged his plane to light and launch pop bottle rockets using model rocketry ignitors. The safety kings freaked. But it did make for a good show at night flys. He just had to make sure he had a good fire extinguisher.

At a former workplace one of the ladies turned 40 so all the other employees got her a black cake with a big 40 on it. The frosting and cake were BLACK and we all started eating the cake. After a short time someone smiled and we all realized the cake was turning our teeth and gums black. We all got a big laugh and the more we laughed and smiled the funnier it was.

The next morning we discussed the surprise color of the morning constitutional. Black!

I have a set of plans for a large scale F-14 scratch built plane that uses 12ga. and .410 shells for the missiles and yes they do fire off the rails.

I would think some "A" engines for the model rockets would work for the AIM-9/AIM-7/AIM-54 on a Tomcat. I have seen the R/C X1 dropped from the large scale B29 (which has since crashed) and the X1 was rocket powered and would glide back to the runway.

Ah, if only I didn't have things like house payments, insurance...I guess insurance would be good for the things I would do if I had a considerable amount of disposable income.

Just for the record, unless you fire blanks, that is a federal offense.

Yea, the feds get their panties in a wad over a lot of fun stuff. They hate it when folks play with TNT or C4. We used to make some great CO2 cartridge rockets and explosives, while on a Air Force Base.

If you think they got their panties in a wad over that kid building a clock/timer, just let them find out you have something that could be considered a UAV weapons platform. Which is actually kind of silly when you think of the damage a 5 to 7 lb radio control airplane traveling over 100 mph with knife blades on the front spinning at 13,000 rpm could do.
