Wow, no wonder she's single. Sorta cute but in a "let's do it and then you leave me the F alone" way.

So wifey decided that she wants the end tables redone. Apparently, she is going to install a different color curtain on the front window. Ok, I actually DO have the time for projects but I don't really want to do it. Besides, I've got to finish painting my custom snare drum first. Priorities, ya know!

She is acting. I thought the shopping for a protection vs attack gun scenario was funny. Has a bunch of similar videos. One is...You can't fix stupid. You can, however distract them so they will shut up for a while. Example: give them a box of fresh hot Krispy Cream donuts. They don't talk while eating them, and if they eat enough they will fall asleep for hours.

She looks a LOT like that parking lot hooker that showed up at the 928 gathering 4 years ago.

Morning Y'all,
I am just trying to get a jump on friday, did it work?
Well after doing way too much research I found the place I am going to grab my next spoon from I just have to get the stones to hit the add to cart button on a 2K spoon that is going to need another 2K for the glass.
I got the green light from Beth, I think she just wants to send a few down range

It is indeed Friday morning.

The coffee is almost ready. For whatever reason the committee of people hired to drive around slowly and getting in the way were all sleeping in. Almost no traffic and I got to work with only one moron and two idiots in traffic.

OK, so that is where the went. I bet their friends will be out in force for my trip home.

I have a theory that there is a committee formed just to get in my way. Somehow some fool will want to pull out of a parking lot and across two lanes of traffic and hurry to get in front of me and then slow down to 10 MPH under the speed limit. I can see the traffic in front of him drive off in the distance. If there are two lanes it takes two morons to pull along beside each other and slow traffic to a crawl.

I figure it must be like the move Monsters Inc. that fuel their city with the screams of children. The difference is the committee to get in Glen's way is powered by my frustration.

That committee is extra sneaky when it comes to business. I can walk into a restaurant and several people get there seconds before me and can't make up their minds on what to order. As I walk towards the register at a grocery store a flood of people with full baskets run to get in front of me and they write an two party out of state check and want cash back.

I don't think 2k will cover a snub nose accurate enough to require any type of glass.

Good Friday, for now. Later not so much. 8-12 inches of crystalline H2O.

Glen I feel your pain. Just today I had a guy pull out into the left turn lane and signal to get into my lane. Not being in a huge hurry I slowed down thinking they would speed up and get in. nope they slowed as well, so screw it I sped up and went on my merry way only to get honked at for not letting them in. Oh hey look at that my car now goes 10mph under the speed limit.

Glen and I are not the only ones. Almost everyone I've talked to has noticed the slow idiots and morons out just poking along at 10mph under the speed limit in the past 6 months. Even saw something on the news where police were going to start issuing tickets for failure to signal. Must be needing more income as the income from speeders is being effected by the increase in morons. As I pass I look over and the drivers are NOT texting or even on the phone as you would expect.

While I was visiting my friend in Austin he got his license renewed. Since he had let it lapse he had to produce a burp certificate and retake both the written and driving tests. Took 4 hours. He had gotten a permit to drive to work, but it costed like $600 since he had let his license expire and it was a full year before they would let him retake the tests. I am honestly kind of surprised he passed the tests. He has found his seat belt dings for 60 seconds then stops so he ignores the reminder and does not wear a seat belt. Also I never saw or heard him signal for a turn. Those are things I've done so much it is now a habit I don't even think about.

I had that happen last week. Guy blew the stop sign to pull out in front of me. I must not have been doing something he liked because he then slammed on the brakes. Had I had the truck I would have eased up to him and pushed him out of the way. I had the new car so I didn't. He still didn't like me and after we made a left turn he pulled to the left at the red light and proceeded to crawl into the passenger seat to yell at me. After he gets there and rolls the window down and starts yelling I point to the light and say "lights green" and left him there. I won' t be surprised to see his car in the paper after being rear ended by a semi or something.

Idiot drivers are an endless source for stories.

How is it that when I go to get a nutritious well balanced meal at some place like Taco Bueno I get there just as a bus load of kids is already walking in the door or if the line is short I get behind someone that has never had "Mexican" food and does not know the difference from a burrito and a taco and needs a full description of every menu item.

When I finally place my order there is NO ONE behind me and no line for a long time. It is that committee I tell ya. They are out to get me.

Taco Bell is in it's own universe, hence the whole border hype. Most other fast food places, if there are 5 or more cars in line it is faster to go into the joint than go thru drive thru. Not true with Taco Bell. Seems that number is 8 in their universe, and I've never actually seen eight cars in line.

Glen, that's the way the matrix is programmed.

I can remember the day I saw the committee begin the operation against me. It was many years ago before any electronic banking. I was sitting in the left lane waiting for a opening in the traffic so I could pull into the drive through banking line. As I was waiting 8 cars in a ROW going the other direction pulled in, in front of me. They all must have tried to refinance their house as long as it took.

Then I went to a local favorite restaurant and as I pulled into the parking lot I saw two bus loads of senior citizens shuffling into the place. I just turned around and tried a different place. As I walked up to the door the manager was putting a sign on the door that the electricity was out and they were closed.

I was getting to every traffic light just as it turned red. I finally went to my preferred beer source and had to wait in a long line as the clerk explained the differences between several different wines to some moron.

I just got my beer and went home and cooked a couple of hot dogs.

As I have explained my theories of the committee, many other feel sure there is a committee to get in their way as well.

One step closer...

We just closed on the sale of our condo. We've been living in a small apartment for the last couple of months and will stay here until we pull the trigger on retirement. Can. Not. Wait.
