Good Hump day morning folks.

For many years my favorite restaurant was just a few miles from my house. They were an Italian food place that was wonderful. My favorite meal there was chicken piccata. Theirs was not breaded chicken and it was super tender. The lady that ran the place got pregnant a second time and she decided that with two little kids she wanted to play mommy more than restaurant manager and she closed up.

Anyway, yesterday my wife went to the grocery store and bought some ingredients she has never before bought and we made chicken piccata. It was real good but that cooking stuff is a lot of work.

Mrs. Carrera grew up in a Southern Baptist family. Cooking wine was as common as bigfoot and unicorns. Capers and lentils were something you saw in the movies.

Glad you got a good meal. Southern Baptists maybe ultra conservative in the ingredients, but I think a potluck is a mandatory part of each service. They like their food.

It was always cool to go to my wife's grandmother's house. She lived alone but at any time she had enough food in the refrigerator to feed several people with leftovers. When she was 92 she would still cook at the church for funerals of church members. The church has a HUGE commercial kitchen that the ladies come in and whip up some amazing meals. Better than any restaurant if you want real home cooking. Dang I am drooling. I guess it is lunch time.

Our church out grew the original church building so they bought the grade school when the school built a new building. Actually, they had to do it twice because the city didn't accept the first winning bid from the auction at $19k. But they have a full cafeteria that they use for making food for free meal Friday and such.

Almost lunch time here. Today it is chicken and rice burritos.

Morning all. This should be my 10k post. Been to ill to come up with a good well rounded yet cool post for 10k. So this is it.

The past few weeks have been pure hell. Getting very little sleep and then fight to stay awake at work. I need Glens job so I can nap. The head aches are gone but return if I cough or sneeze or bend over. So I do my best to avoid all such things.

The rains and crappy weather have hit so driving the 911 is over the for the season. AT this point I have not plans for winter working on it as there is no way I can until the docs get done with me.

On that note I'm off.....in more ways than one.

Thanks guys. Time will tell. From what they say they think its over pressure of spinal fluid. So they tried drugs the side effects were worse. Now it might be a lumbar puncture to drain some off. As long as it is fixed by the xmas holiday I'll be glad.

So it sounds like you are so smart your brain is making too much spinal juice. They just need to put in a pressure relief valve or bleed off valve. Richard's company makes lots of specialty valves. I bet they can whip up a self taping valve you can just screw into place and let off some pressure.

Well, maybe that is not such a good idea.

So are they going to install a Schroeder valve or what? Hope they figure it out, this has been going on a long time.

Jim, I hope the pack gets healthier so they can play decently again.

A pop off valve should do the trick.
