Morning Y'all
Well lets walk into day three of a pounding sinus headache.
I picked a bad life to stop doing drugs

Morning.

Would like a new dishwasher...either the manual or automatic kind, but either would cost me.

And no, Pepper licking the dishes clean does NOT count. It does count as pre-rinsing before putting in the dish washer and saves wear and tear on the garbage disposal.

Figuring having the same dishwasher and fridge for over 20 years combined with the increase noises they are now making, will be getting on or the other or both soon. Should have sabotaged them when my brother and sister were spending Mom's money to replace the stove, microwave and kitchen/dining floor.

I AM the dishwasher in our house. I've never even used an automatic version.

Happy Sunday.

Taking the daughter shopping for winter boots today. Her cowgirl boots aren't going to cut it, apparently.

I like to run my dishes thru the machine because it rinses them with water a bit hotter than I am willing to put my hands in. Is it hot enough to actually kill anything, probably not. That's why I should get a new one, one with an extra water heater in it (or at least claims to get hot enough to sterilize) to get the water way hotter than my house water heater. I do run my kitchen sink hot tap until it is hot to make sure hot water is readily available to the dishwasher before starting it.

And yes, after the dog licking I give them a quick rinse to get the dog spit off before putting them in the dish washer.

My dishwasher apparently got an extra heating element or something. That sucker gets really friggin hot.

Supposed to get 170°F or higher to kill the growy stuff. Most house water heaters are kept at 140°F.

That went as well as expected, I brought Beth along to entertain her mom so she would stay out of my way.
One of the first things I did when we bought this house was install a dishwasher. I hate washing dishes and I don't expect anybody else to spend the time and ag washing them either.
Now that it is just Beth and I at home we could get away without one but it still gets used

Finally found a pair of boots for the girl, after going to 9 stores, literally. Oh well, the walk though the mall was good exercise and we had fun.

Started to stain the table tops tonight when we got home. I was using a step stool to reattach some stereo wires in the garage when I stepped off wrong. I heard my left knee "POP" and hit the ground. SONOFABI@!$!!

It's not broken but hurts like he!!. I am not liking this getting old crap a bit.

The worst part about having other people do the thing you used to be able to do but can't now for whatever reason is they never do it like you would or as good as you would.

The only exception I've really found so far is my car detail guy...er, Automotive Appearance Enhancement Specialist.
He polished up the 356 that got first place at the Porsche Palooza this year.

If you open our Bosch anytime in the 30mins or so after its run you get hit with steam. I figure it must do a pretty good job of sterilizing. We really love it now that I figure out how to turn off that infernal beeping sound it made at the end of its cycle!
