How much does a smart phone with data plan cost these days. I have no idea since my iPhone and unlimited account on Verison is a company phone. Don't a LOT of providers have good deals and free phones when you switch?

Bob is paying $90 a month and has an old cell phone that only does texting. That just seems awfully high for just texting.

Okay googled it. Sprint is just under $70 a month for the plan plus data plus the iPhone6.

Afternoon all. Sorry to see all the ice down there. Saw you guys (the area anyway) on the news. We had rain but it didn't freeze until last night but it was thawed by 7:00 this morning. Made everything muddy so we didn't hunt.

Richard, maybe you can send your brother an article on how the UFOs can cause havoc with the Japanese electronics.

Maybe sunshine tomorrow.

Jim, you should cherish the foul weather for when you move to SoCal and don't have it any more.

For $90 per month he could have a iPhone6. Of course he is gonna have to pony up the cost of the phone. He can buy a used smart phone and save some money.

I bought my iPhone 6 outright and pay sprint 50 bucks a month for unlimited. I think it was a promotion though.

Weather sucks, girlfriend almost got taken out by a school bus this morning. Ready to spend a week or two in Hawaii

Just took a little over an hour to do a round trip to pick up some drugs at the pharmacy 2 miles from the house. The 15 mph morons are out in FORCE!!!!

My iPhone lists 3.7 Gig of data used for the current period, whatever that means.

See, if you had kept the Rover you could just push them out of the way and blame the ice.

Rover barely had enough power to push itself let alone anything else. Risked being one of the slow morons driving it.

One of the metro area schools closed today because......
Some of the students did not have electricity because of the ice storm. The school had power, the buses run on diesel, many of the students have power but some don't. The precious snowflakes likely have dead cell phones because they can't charge them at home and they are walking around like zombies whimpering and staring at the dead cell phones not smart enough to use a car charger.
I just am amazed they closed school because SOME students did not have power.

Last time the limb fell thru the roof my roofer told me I shudda called em. He wudda sent someone right out and made sure they fixed it for what insurance would pay. Last time me, my brothers, my nephew, and two of nephew's boys put plastic over the hole. Would have saved ourselves a couple of hours of climbing around on a slick icey roof in the freezing cold.

It was exactly 5pm when it hit so will call em in the morning. Luckily the hole is small and is above the eave so if it rains it won't ruin the ceiling or walls. It is also right where the other limb boogered the gutter earlier.

Danged. Updated mail server to newest software this weekend. Have one user that won't use a any sort of standard email program. Using some cheap mac program I've never heard of. After the upgrade it won't connect to the server. Downloaded a copy and I can't get it to connect at all. All the other mail programs I've tried work just fine. If I have to downgrade the server for this one user, everyone else will have to redo the accounts on all their devices.

Why do people have to do this stuff. Almost everyone uses Outlook for email. Those on Macs also use outlook, or if they don't want to spent money the Mail.app that comes with the OS. But noooo. This user doesn't want to spend the money on Outlook, even though they use the other office apps and really should upgrade anyway, but they won't use the free mail.app. Instead they have to use a cheap $9.99 app that's not compatible with anything new. Arrrrrgh.

Hmmm...a little web research and I've found a little asian restaurant in Darwin that has a number of absinth fountains with a selection of 10 different styles of absinth. Now, do we open the door for the green fairy or not...maybe?

Oh bugger me! I'm melting here.

Bugger drinking in this climate, I'm getting some tucker and heading back to the air-conditioned hotel room.
