The only commercial boats in our area go on the bricktown area,

Bricktown Water Taxi – Boat rides on the Bricktown Canal, Oklahoma City

Kinda like in Austin, TX.

So does anybody here do the smoker thing and use a wireless meat thermometer?

This infrared gas smoker you are supposed to just put the meat in with a temp probe and leave it alone until the correct internal temp is reached.

There's a paddle wheel on Grand Lake, the Cherokee Queen. That's on the other side of Tulsa though.

Yea, but it is on a lake not a river. Wouldn't that make it a lake boat?

That's why I called it a paddle wheel. Don't know of any paddle wheels on rivers in OK.

Hmmm, looks like they have a river cruise that goes about 6-7 miles up and down the river downtown that is not the water taxi. Two boats that look kinda like a big African Queen, not paddle boats. And they serve drinks.

It's an hour and 40 minutes round trip.

I had no idea they had started doing this.

Yea, i goes from the Boathouse area to SE15th and Meridian area and back. 25 years ago they had to mow the river along there. With enough locks they can keep it full enough to run a boat on.

It is cool that the river that once had to be mowed now has an Olympic training center and world class skull and rowing center. And the Olympic training center for the white water kayaking.

We used to drive our 4x4s thru and around the river down thru there too. At least until they put up the big signs that said NO 4X4s. Think we were having too much fun for them to not make any money off of it.

Lots of river boats here and some are still paddle wheels. They used to have them for gambling in Iowa and Illinois but then they changed the rules and you can gamble on land now. Lots of variety from fine dining to vending machines on the trips.

Here is one of the old casino boats.

Ah ah, found a 2006 Titanium S that has cornering lights, air suspension, trailer package, and silver gauge faces. It's red with black/sand beige interior. One owner with 90K on it.

ha ha ha ha

It's still better than most of them gray, silver, or black.
The titanium package is red comes with the silver gauge faces.
There is a red between my Carmine Red and the Pure Red that I really like, but they are 2010 and newer out of my budget.

My Protégé 5 was red but apparently "slower than a turtle stuck in molasses" red.

Bigger news, though:

Burger King is introducing "The WHOPPERITO"!!
