My first 928 was guards red. Got pulled over a few times, but didn't get no tickets.

Whopperito? When I am hungry for a burrito hamburger with queso cheese and burger toppings isn't what I'm hungry for. It's supposed to be safer than risking food poisoning with a Chipotle burrito though.

By the way, one of the web sites with recipes for smoking meat said the best brine is made from the tears of a thousand vegans. No offense to those wives that are vegan.

That's funny. Do you collect the tears by showing them before and after pictures of the animal?

Cooked myself breakfast this morning, and omlette with italian sausage, hamburger, ham, pulled pork, and provolone cheese seasoned with some garlic powder and onion powder.. It was delicious. Went to make myself some pan chili for lunch and found I had left the burner on after breakfast. 1500watt burner on med for 5 hours. There goes all my energy saving crap. It used more kWh than my ac does.

Can do. When in college went on a ski trip with 6 waitresses and 2 other cooks from the pizza joint I worked at. We all stayed in the same condo. Took on being the breakfast cook. Because everyone appreciated me getting up and starting coffee (and bacon) didn't have to clean up after breakfast or help with any other meals or clean up. Thought it was a great gig. Usually woke up before everyone else anyway. Seemed to have been haunted by gassy sparrows for quite some time.

Morning.

A guy I went to HS with lost his wife to cancer last year. She was in our class as well. He posted a really heartfelt tribute to her on FB this morning.

OK, OK , I'm awake.

Richard, I can do cleanup just fine.

Wayne, cancer sucks. Especially when it takes young people.

Yet another of my friends lost his wife to breast cancer last week. She had been fighting it for almost 8 years. She just could not endure another round of chemotherapy. It extended her life several years that she would never have had without it.

The other friend that lost a wife just two years ago lost his wife in just a couple of years after diagnosis. Her husband has been really despondent after her death.

Cancer is a horrible thing.

My Mom died 16 years after her breast cancer from the drug therapy to keep the cancer from coming back. Well it worked. Too bad it also gave her 2 strokes and post stroke dementia that she eventually passed from. Was finally given the choice of stopping the drug and risk cancer coming back, or continue and keep having strokes. We stopped it, but by then the stroke damage was already done and she was left to slowly fall victim to post stroke dementia like Alzheimer's. Think we would have been much happier if we would have been given the alternatives BEFORE they started the drug therapy and had the strokes. Mom would have much rather had the cancer come back than go thru the strokes and dementia.

My Mom will be 77 in September and has had no signs of it. Her heart is barely working but no cancer.

My Dad was a heavy smoker but he passed without knowing he had it. They were going to do surgery for a stomach issue and when they got in there they found it. The doctors told us it was terminal so we decided to let him go peacefully. If he had known, he probably would have done something drastic. It was a tough decision but the right one.

Mom was 80 and very active when her cancer showed up. Not very happy with her doctor or the hack surgeon she had.

Richard, if she was 80 when cancer showed up and she lived 16 years after that she lived a very long life.

I'm out of the running for Father of the Year...

Our daughter's hamster was asleeo this morning and sounded like it was snoring. Funny as heck, at the time.

Now it sounds like he's got COPD. I read online that it could be nearing the end or just have a cold. We are going to take him to the vet later but I fear I'm going to be dealing with the inevitable.

Yes she did. She was the oldest of 3 sisters and outlived them all. As a matter of fact she outlived all of her friends too.
