Hmmm.

Make sure the calendar does not have any permissions set for the user in question.
Make sure the user that is getting corrupted does not have too many shared calendars open.
Oh and make sure they are using the scheduling assistant instead of opening the other user's calendar. Probably too many other users calendars open.
Not only create a NEW profile for the user with corrupted profile, but make sure old profile data files and autodiscover files are deleted from the user's computer.
If happens again, create new profile, export all data etc from Outlook. Delete user on exchange, create new user, add outlook, import data from backup.
If still gets corrupted, fire the user, or give them a new name a let them start over as another person entirely.

2. Have a user with permission to another users calendar with that other user's calender open in Outlook. Then give the user full access to the other users account. See what happens with the user starts getting double listings that will not open because they don't have permission.

See just how many email folders/messages a user can set up in their inbox.

See how may emails they can get in the sent items before it causes problems. Over 7,000 makes Mac Outlook delete and new sent items.

Somewhere I heard...

If you worry that their may be lions outside, to much worry and you will never leave your house. Don't know why I remember that.

The other day I was at the local Braums getting a gallon of milk.
There was an old lady in front of me that I was waiting on. Her bill was under $25.
She was digging around in her satchel sized purse and couldn't find her credit card.
After several minutes I offered to pay for her stuff.
She just glared at me said "no" and kept digging.
On the other side of her was what I assumed was her son about my age.
He just looked at me and shrugged then rolled his eyes.
As she kept digging and was now coming up with the odd bill or change I said I would be happy to help and it would even make me feel good to help some one.
Especially if you lost or misplaced your card.
She didn't even stop or slow down and yelled "NO!" this time.
I said "well okay" and just patiently waited for almost 10 minutes for her to dig out enough money to pay her bill plus about 2 cents.
The whole time the son just stood there shaking his head. They left together and he drove her.
I can only assume he had been thru that situation before.

It doesn't.

Only the one, she normally has only hers but opens the others on occasion instead of using the scheduling assistant.

Did not remove the autodiscover stuff, but she went back to her old profile and she could get to the calendar again.

Oye Va.

Cannot fire her, but she can fire me.

I can try that when I get back. What is weird is that Outlook asks for a user name and password when she tries to open the calendar. Seems to be when she takes the computer home and comes back.

Lift the computer up gently then smash it onto the worktable. I've found that this fixes most computer problems. Mostly because you have to buy a new one which works just fine.

Had the weirdest dream. Nothing bad or anything, just weird. Or maybe it's just weird because I remembered it after waking up.

Good morning, dromedary day!

It's also National #2 Pencil Day. Probably just some propaganda put out by the wooden pencil manufacturers.

Get a free lunch today. Taking my SIL to an eye doc appointment and she is buying lunch for my trouble.

Pepper is getting a bump on the back of her head. Guess I need to call the vet and go see if she busted her skull and her brain is leaking or something. My first golden, the back of her head was bigger and everyone said that showed she was smart and she was very smart so I just assumed that was that. My second Golden Camber didn't have it and wasn't super smart so further supported the wive's tale. Pepper's is just a on one side instead of the whole back of her head like my first dog. Looked it up and says it's probably nothing but to have a vet check it out. Maybe Pepper's just a half wit?

Good morning all.

A certain friend ran a Carfax on my 1986 Elky just for curiosity sake. It shows it was first sold on 1-15-1986 and I can see when I bought it in 1991 with 42,847 miles. When I moved from my bachelor pad house in OKC to Edmond in 1993, and then it shows several times that the car was registered but it does not show every year. I am certain I always had a current tag on it, in fact a personalized tag. It shows no accidents and the good news is the air bags have never gone off! It has never traveled out past the moon, and the flight controls and ASD-b are up to date.

No mileage updates since 1991.

Usually you only record the miles when owners change. To register my new to me Cayenne I will have to take it and the title to the local tag agency and they will check the VIN and record the odometer as part of the registration. Remember doing that on the 928, but not on the Rover think the Cayenne was registered by the loan company so I didn't have to mess with it.

Wonder if you took the Elky to a Chebby dealer to have something done, would it show up on the CarFax?

Having a vehicle transported halfway across the country for a decent price sure takes a long time.

Evidently after 30 years the vehicle is exempt from the odometer registration. It would be impossible to tell if from looking at my car if it has 146K, 246K or 346K. Since I personally put the miles on it, I am real sure of the total. I don't think anyone would believe 46K.

Normaller when school starts. Already started around here. Watch out for those school zones!

I haven't seen whether it's happening or not but the city wanted to replace all the school zone signs to signs that are on a radio network so each sign could be turned on and off with flashing lights from a central location. That was somehow supposed to make it safer for the kids. They can't hardly pay the teachers but they can invest several teachers salary in new fancy signs.

We go back on Sept. 6. The boy will be starting middle school as a little fish and the girl will be in 5th. We aren't too worried about her but think he is going to have a hard time adjusting. We have meetings over the next couple of weeks with his doctors and school officials to help him.

I believe that sometimes you just have to jump right into the fire although some folks don't agree with me.

Like I'm sure I told you guys before, when in 7th grade, that as the first year of Jr High and during that year was the last year Jr High was 7, 8, 9. After the first 9 weeks I got put in the 9th grade band. That changed my schedule from having the Geography home room (smart, high grade makers) 9th grade band was home room to the slow learner's Geography (same hour as 7th grade band). None of my other classes changed. It was a real eye opener for me. I thought all the classes were the same. But not so. Went from studying countries and climate, population, government, history, national products to finding countries on a map by name and recognizing their shapes then watching films on Fridays, mostly western serials, Roy Rodgers, John Wayne, and Sky King.

True Holger!

The kids aren't even awake for the first few days of school. We are starting with school year bedtimes this week to get them ready for early mornings again. My son will start school at 742am and my daughter will start at 842. I'll drop him off and then wait an hour and drop her off. Of course, the school are across town from each other.

Wayne, you have a hybrid to save on gas?

Guy at work started commuting 25 miles one way and discovered he could afford the payment on a prius hybrid for what it saved him in gas every month compared to his Jeep Grand Cherokee. He was the first person I actually knew that owned one.

I'm sure the Cayenne Turbo is going to get horrible gas mileage, but drive less than 4000 miles a year including vacations so doesn't hurt too bad. Less than 20 gallons a month.
