Ahhhh silence finally

Lets see if I can make sleeping noises now and wake them up

On the other hand, this could get into a nasty loop where no one gets any sleep

Have a female yell "Yes, Yes, Come inside, come inside." really loud a few times. That should quiet things down fairly quickly. At least it works that way in porn.

My old boss went on a retreat to Big Bear and he was told to sleep on a different floor in the cabin and he was still too loud with his sleeping noises. I swear that man could compete with a B1 on full burner. Well, maybe not quite.

Back in the stone ages when Young Frankenstein was first released some friends of mine went to a big ski trip with several other couples. They all stayed in one big condo with several bedrooms and several of the bedrooms were fairly close together. They all went to see Young Frankenstein as a group and loved the movie. After all of them had settled down for the night my friends wife let out with the "Oh Sweet Mystery of Life at last I found you" in a loud song.

All the other couples were hysterical with laughing. Even the next day some of the other ladies could not look at them without getting the giggles.

Argh.

I hate dealing with the City of OKC (or any government agency really) as a customer. They want some aerials of a park from 1965 to 1970. OK, cool, we have that. Of course I have to write up a formal Quote of services and fill out a long one page form about our company and swear I am not in collusion with some city worker. And send them a new W9, just to get the OK to proceed. I guess the good news is all of that is in place to keep the contractors from ripping off the City. I like that part but I hate filling out all that paperwork for a little job for a couple of hundred bucks.

Of course they asked about competitive bidding and I told them no one else on the planet has these aerials. There might be some low res government images from once in the 1960s but not these high res images.

Don't the rates go up depending on if dumb questions are asked?

Darn, didn't win the MI lottery yesterday.

Think there is something being put in the water to make people morons.
There seems to be a LOT more of them recently.

Saw that video Rick shared on FB with the looney lady get all upset because a guy followed her after she flipped him off and called him names. This campaign is bringing the morons out of the woodwork.

Had a lady to something similar to me several years ago. At a light she was beside me and I was smoking a cigarette and I had my window down. She yelled something about me smoking and I just looked at her like she was nuts. In several blocks she is weaving all over the road speeding past me then slowing down and she pulls next to me yelling at me and hold up a sign with my tag number saying she was going to report me to the police. Since she said she was going to report me to the police for something I didn't do I decided to calmly follow her.

She drives straight to a local police station. I pulled in and stopped behind her but stayed in my car. She flagged down an officer also staying in her car. Watched as she gesticulated wildly, pointed at me a lot and yelled at the cop. She was obviously on a rage.

The cop comes over and says that she saw me litter throwing a cigarette butt out of my window and was going to file a complaint. Showed him the peanut can with a lid on it I keep in my car with cigarette butts in it. And ask my passenger in my car if I threw a butt out the window or not. He said I used the can. Told the officer that while at a light she was yelling something at me about smoking and I just ignored it. Then in a few blocks she was driving erratically, yelling at me and held up a sign with my tag number on it saying she was going to call the police so I calmly followed her.

And I asked if I would still have to pay a fine or could I contest her complaint if I had a witness. He said I would have to pay the fine as it is not a court case. Asked him if she would have to pay the fine for speeding, wreckless driving, and harassment and was it more or less than littering. He said she would have to pay it as well and it would be more. Told him to tell her if she files a false claim on me I would file those on her.

He went and talked to her then she drove off in a huff. He told me she had decided it was in her best interest to not file a complaint. And then he went on about how littering was against the law and I held up my butt can and said, "Thank you sir."

The guy with me said he would have gotten the complaint in the mail and had to pay it. And that that lady was nuts, he saw me put my cigarette butt in the butt can.

Nice. One of the things I miss about driving the Boxster S with the top down is the sounds and smells just driving around.

Oh great. Went to pediatrist today. His assistant replaced his totaled SUV...YESTERDAY!!
Said he spent $17K for a Pathfinder and would much rather have bought my Cayenne S.
Said he didn't consider a Cayenne because he thought they were too expensive.

Pediatrist says he is being talked into buying his friends 911 Turbo. Didn't say what year.
Told him one of my friends wants to sell his 911 Turbo S, but it is the last year of air cooled and its current value around $500K.
He thought it was only worth $150.

Richard it sounds like the movie, A Day Late and a Dollar Short.

Wow, what a difference in temperature. Yesterday afternoon it was up to 88. Then the thunderstorms rolled through and the 50 MPH winds brought the temps down a lot. It was 50 degrees outside on the way to work. The high is only forecast to be mid 60s. I like it.

The stupid weatherman always like to throw in fashion advice and he said last night that "You will not want to wear shorts and a short sleeve shirt in the morning" and he was flat our WRONG. It ain't near cold enough to have to wear jeans. Yuck.
