Friend of mine picked up a midi drum kit so he could practice without worrying about bothering anyone else.

He plays bass in a band that does party gigs, no bars, and they do practice, but don't know where. He has been playing bass in bands since before he graduated HS.

Wh have been waiting for a package from FedEx all day. We finally got the tracking number from the shipper and it says it was delivered at 10:30. It ain't here.

The last time FedEx did that it was delivered to some house on the other side of town. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I had one delivered in another part of the country once. Then it got delivered at another part of the country and finally on the third try it made it. It was back in the olden days and it was a software package that let me share a SCSI scanner to other computers on the network.

If you get the chance, take some pics at the different ride heights.

Will take before pics of
Special terrain, Highest
Normal, Middle
Loading Level, Lowest (does not drive at this level)

Same for after.

There is a level between Special Terrain and Normal called Terrain.
There is a level between Normal and Loading Level called Low Level.
When driving over 70mph it automatically drops from Normal to Low level.
When driving over 120mph it automatically drops from Low level to an unlisted level above Low level but lower than Low level.

Well after "chatting" to a pretty good fake human rep at FedEx it could not understand my reply to the description of what was in the box. I finally got to talk to a real human on the phone.
Our package was delivered to a business 6 blocks south of us. WTF?

Of course everyone is closed so maybe on Monday we will get it. With just a little luck we should get our package eventually.

The last time FedEx screwed up they delivered a box with almost a 1000 frames of exposed film on some house. That was two full days of flying in south Texas and was many many big big bucks. We got it a day late.

A brand new roll of film is 3,300 bucks and after we fly for two days running it through the camera and get it processed it is really expensive.

Cool! You have the very rare and desirable " Double Super Secret Level" option on the hot rod.

Glen- that sucks. Would it be worth a drive to the place that got the box to see if anyone is there?

All of the air suspension Cayennes have the Double Super Secret Level for going over 120mph.

Big anti-climax. The cable connects to my computer says it's working but it doesn't seem to be talking to the cayenne. Can't read anything. If it can't read codes, it can't set things.

And of course they are closed till Monday. How dare they sell an Enthusiast verseion and not have a tech available nights and weekends. If I was running a company that sold anything that was both Professional and Enthusiast I would have after hours support for the enthusiast!!!

Hey all.

Wifey is working today. Debating on whether to get the struts for the truck and do that job today. Strange pricing for them. You can buy a "loaded" assembly with the coil spring for about $15 more than one without the spring.

The weather readers are saying we should have rain and t-storms today.

Good lunch time...Sleeped right thru what most would call morning. Guess Ive made up for not getting much sleep lately.

Today I'm gonna try one last thing for the Durametric. Setup a boot camp partition and install winders 10 on it. Tried both Fusion and Parallels and no talky to Turbo. At least it's not registering that I am using up a vin number on the Durametric cable (you only get 3).

I likes them huevos rancheroses.

Best one I has was a cafe in Dallas. It had slices of fresh tomato on it.

Also had a pulled pork omelette that had provolone cheese and served wth salsa at some cafe in Austin that was really good. When I went back to Austin the next year the place was gone. Instead we went to a place that had puffy tacos. Instead of corn tortillas they had a flour tortilla that was puffy like a sopapilia.

Another place I had what they called a green chili cheeseburger omelette. That was pretty good too.

Still haven't done a darn thing yet today.

Got a call from my sister asking us to dinner for her hubbys Bday tonight. So, we will be heading to the hometown this afternoon or when wifey gets home.

Oh well, we would be sitting home watching "COPS" tonight anyway.

Good thing we aren't being filmed for a reality show. It would be very boring.

That's F'd up. I am NOT getting along with Windows!

Tried to install a boot camp partition of win10 on my laptop. It failed to format and recognize the disk partition and locked up the freaking partition. It won't reset it back to mac and won't install windows. So now I have 100GB on my hard drive that I can't use. The only way I can get it back is reformat my drive and reinstall the system and all my stuff from backup.
