The PT will help considerably. The other stuff however needs a different therapy.
Might go bass guitar shopping. The daughter has been wanting a five string for some time and a while ago when my sister was looking at guitars for my niece the guy asked our daughter if he could help her. She said she was looking for a 5 string with some punch, vintage 70s, Geddy Lee sound to it but that she didn't have the money quite yet. He said a Fender Precision is what she was looking for and hooked her up with a stool to sit on next to a Marshal stack as tall as she was at the time even though she would not be buying anything for a while. She announced over the weekend she has enough saved and the guy has a sale going on with $100 or so off the bass she likes. The bad part is the store is 90 minutes away, but the guy was willing to invest in her happiness for 15 minutes and no one close has them in stock very often. We had great weather over the weekend except for a short time on Saturday. We were working in the yard and garden when it was decided we would go get a frozen treat. So we up and left. Just before we finished it started pouring hard and we were 15 minutes from home. Up until then I had forgotten I had left the Cobra outside. Oops. It got washed out at least.

Good Morning,
Calling a friend I went to HS with to see what my Saxophone is worth. He manages a music store here in OKC. It's a Selmer MARK VI Alto. Ebay shows them for $4K to $6k. Paid $750 new back in 10th Grade. Haven't even taken it out of the case for about 15years. Also got a nice Yamaha Acoustic Guitar when in College but don't think it is worth too much. Learned a couple or chords, but have to look at my fingers the change between them. It is also a case queen. Friend of mine just sold a really nice Olymbic bass. Or however you spell it. I don't know basses. It was exspensive though. If I get back into music, think I would want to go MIDI keyboard, then hook it up with Garage Band and play all the instruments.

Years ago I knew a guy that wrote music but couldn't read a lick of it. He used a MIDI keyboard which then wrote the music for him to print out. I always wondered if he had someone play it back to know if it was correct.
I have my trombone from HS and she plays it. There isn't much she doesn't play. Her current 4 string is a Yamaha. It isn't worth a lot. I have played a few Yamaha acoustic, including the above song writer's and they sound very nice. The pool is full and the grass is long. Jim, I guess I didn't jinx it for the April blizzard.

Am music literate. Read full scores well enough to direct marching band, concert band, orchestra, and jazz band. Wrote a couple of crappy stanzas for jazz band in music theory, but was a hassle to write all the parts out to have a band play it, let alone make edits. So wanted a good MIDI to record the instruments myself so could massage the crappy out it. My pen name was Felonous Munk. For sure did not want my real name associated with that noise.

There are some good apps out there for MIDI playback on your phone or computer. My brother in law has a huge breakout box for his computer to have his own recording studio and it came with a really nice sequencer with tons of sampled sounds.

It must get amplified in the kids. The daughter has way more talent than my wife or I.

I can play a radio, CD player and even a DVD player. MP3 and Wav formats are easy. I am an expert at listening to Pandora. I can't carry a tun in a bucket.
I dated a chick for a while that was in the OKC orchestra and played a fiddle. She called it a violin. It was shortly after The Devil Went Down to Georgia was getting air time. She played that with ease after hearing it twice.

Gave my clarinet to a niece. Had both a Vito Alto Saxophone I had gotten in 7th grade and my Selmer. Marched with the Vito when I saw a friend fall marching and flatten his alto. Looked like it had been run over by a steam roller. Traded the Vito Alto Sax for the Guitar when in college after I got out of marching band. Had some scented mental attachment to the Selmer Sax, but it's all worn off now that the value has gone up so much.

Phew. The Master Gardner finally realized that even if we borrow a trailer that can haul the two tons of rock she bought for the garden it will be a challenge for the two of us old geezers to unload the 2 tons and get the trailer back to the owners that day. She is paying to have it delivered on a pallet. Yea!

When re-landscaping the front yard was also going thru diverticulitis attacks aggravated by the wheelbarrowing and shoveling. Ended with the yard re-landscaped and planted with grass, and me having 14 inches of my colon removed. DO NOT recommend it!! Would much rather have paid landscapers than medical bills.

I am pretty sure physical activity does not cause diverticulitis. If it did I would have died when I put in my sprinkler system.

All that bending a lifting sure aggravated it. If I didn't work on the yard I did fine. After working on the yard it would flare up and leave me curled up with my gut hurting.
