The death in Elk City last night was someone in a car. Hopefully they were not out storm watching and watching too close. That happens a lot. Most deaths from tornadoes are people in vehicles and not paying attention to the weather. The tornado tore up a lot of houses in the south part of Elk City. Fortunately is was a little one F1 or F2 at most.

Good Hump day all.

Good luck with which ever option the doc recommends.

My wife loves to knit. She started a knitting group that meets at our house on Mondays. The all worked on "Knitted Knockers" and made a knitted boob shaped prosthesis for women that have had a mastectomy. The knitted knocker can be washed in the washing machine and they made several sizes. There is a knit shop in Norman that collects them and gets them to the women that need them for free. The store had had a total of 40 knitted knockers after several months. My wife and her group brought them 34 more this week.

That's cool. For now she keeps the original parts so no KK needed.

Mertnin.

My SIL and my Niece's Son are both going thru Chemo.

Space brother keeps telling them chemo will kill them and to use alternative treatments.

I just tell them once that I've seen people go into complete remission taking Nutrilite Double XX vitamins, and leave it to them to make their own decisions.

After Mom had her knocker removal procedure she made a replacement using material and filled it with rice. It was heavy enough that it didn't cause her sling to ride up. My sisters tried to get her to make them, but there wasn't any interest.

Wonder what my SIL thinks about Mom's replacement now that she needs one.

Yeah, something about you walk off and leave your phone it will lock up so someone can't get into the company data.

If you have an iCloud account you can put your iPhone in stolen mode. It will turn off all notifications, ringing, etc. But doesn't delete your files.
At least unless a thief uses the swipe up control center to put the phone in Airplane Mode. Then it can't be found with "Find my iPhone."

Great. Emily has a concert tonight out in the middle of nowhere and there is a tornado watch and severe thunderstorm warning. The watch doesn't bother me, but we don't need high winds and hail again. I already picked up the play set twice and put fence posts deep alongside and have them screwed into the posts of the play set. I am not picking it up again. The grill blew over Monday night. A school 3 miles north of us lost the roof in the thunderstorm Monday night and it blew a tractor-trailer over in Platteville. Jacob was supposed to be in a bike rodeo after school so I get to pick him and his bike up at 5:30. Glad I have the Rogue instead of the new car or the Durango. The Durango just got a new heater core and I am not going to let it get totaled now! Plus, it is in better shape then the Nissan other than some rust showing through on the front bumper.

Brent, I hope you and the family all survived the weather last night. It is May, and tonight is another storm a coming through.

We spent yet another evening out in the front yard gardens working on getting the drip irrigation to work. It is easy to work with as far as adding or moving things. It is a pain to have to be bent over putting it together. Just slow and tedious. No wonder typical spray heads are more popular. I am very ready for this project to be finalized, done and complete, for this spring anyway.

morning. I stress the lack of good in that statement. Looks like the wife will be doing chemo starting in the next few weeks.

David, our thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

We had no new missing stuff but there were sirens going off and a green sky. Only 70mph winds. I left the grill figuring it would only blow over again. Supposed to get up to 65* is all today, a full 20* cooler than it has been.

She is a huge Batman and Spiderman fan. Which is funny, as when she was young she hated Spiderman and I always teased her I was getting a Spiderman poster for her. Now she has a Spiderman throw rug.
