Kinda like Bermuda grass. One application of roundup only makes it angry.

Actually Bermuda is great turf-grass. It loves 100 degree heat. It can seek out and find any flower bed. It reproduces by seeds and root runners.

Very tough stuff.

If you ever buy a mac laptop, make sure to spend a little extra and get Applecare. It basically is insurance for you laptop. Have had several company laptops replaced that were abused.

Today when I woke up my closed laptop was open about 1/8 of an inch. Seems the battery is not shielded and is swelling. The unshielded battery in the newer laptop lets them make the laptop thinner. However, they glue the battery to the frame of the laptop. Since the battery is evidently defective and swelling, not only does the battery have to be replaced, but also the laptop fram, keyboard, and trackpad. YIKES!! If i didn't have Applecare it would cost me $500.

It RUNS! Talked to mechanic. The 928 Runs. He wants a couple of weeks to drive and make sure there are no rich or lean spots in the tune or any leaks to stop then have it detailed.

Great! Your excellent mechanic even takes your 928 on an epic road trip for you. Fantastic service!

Welcome back home, Jeff. Too bad your home is frozen!

Pretty sure mechanic wants to make sure it has zero issues after he has had it this long.

Good Morning all.

It was a foggy cool morning today. The clouds are at about 50 feet up. The tops of taller buildings are in the clouds. Not a good morning to go flying.

You have a 928?

Yep...As I remember its a 1994 928GTS 5spd in Iris Blau Metallic with a classic gray interior.

Need to clean and straighten up my garage so it has a nice place to come home to.
Also planning to install an electronic dead bolt on the overhead door since I heard of a couple similar but not as desirable 928GTSs selling for over $100K recently.

Does that driver have enough headroom? Those ears are kind of big.

The suspension must be pretty stiff, it isn't even listing to that side.
