Thanks for sharing those pics, Pete. The only thing I really miss from living back east are the fall colors.

Looks great Pete. We plan to fly up there and rent a car and do a fall tour some year soon. We are driving to Arkansas next month to do the leaf tour. We are just starting to see the first hints of fall foliage down here

Probably be a Monty Python Fall. One or two leafs fall dramatically, then the rest all just drop at once.

Morning all. The visit from my brother was all too short. They took off early this morning. Headed for home urge was strong for them.

You should get a Jetski Richard. Hand throttle and you can tow it with the Cayenne!

Regatta brings to mind sipping wine and wearing those blazers with the emblem on the breast.
Have skied behind a really fast jet boat and played on jet skis. Sure it was fast, but didn't really take a lot of concentration. Thought about a plane, kind of boring as there actually isn't a whole lot of concentration involved unless you get into aerobatics. Flying itself is expensive and aerobatics more so. The 928 guy i know that is into aerobatic planes has 10 928s. And as far as the flashing goes, have considered a similar film/internet venture. But have to honestly admit I am average, just not naturally equipped for exhibition. And already have a family member doing the sex addiction thing, very expensive. Keep em coming, maybe someone will come up with something.

The thing I like is the concentration and focus.
To fly R/C you have to concentrate on the plane to stay ahead of it on the controls. And it kind of helps that you have to keep your eyes on the plane and NOT look at the controls. Pretty much the same thing to autocross. You have to concentrate to stay ahead of the car with the steering, speed, braking, shifting, etc. Especially if driving a car at it's limits, 4 wheel drifting the corners.

Good Morning.
It's Columbus Day. So, no banking today. Are we supposed to give people a basket of citrus fruits or bash a Pinata for Columbus Day?

Yea, I guess it is a federal holiday so the banks are closed and no mail delivery. At least the important stuff like trash pickup is still on.

So we are supposed to go someplace today, get lost, end up someplace different than intended then declare we fount it.
That means we go eat at Denny's? You never set out to eat at Denny's, you just end up there. We could break a Piņata in honor of the Niņa, Piņata, and Santa Maria.

Understand that is really popular in Bangkok. Sounds exotic with all the glamor, but to be competitive I would have to shave the beard!
