I like the original style better. The rear scoops look kinda weird to me.

Sure would like to find a lawn kid that did as good of a job as I did when I was doing lawns.
Do the seals dry out if you run them dry? We usually don't need anything like Stabil or Sea Foam for the winters here, but the heat of the summer will gum things up without any additives. And that is all straight gas.

Oh, and it was a Lemony Snickets day here yesterday.

I mix Stabil in with my gas when I fill up the 5 gallon can in the spring. That usually lasts me all year, and any leftovers I put in the El Camino.

I never drain the tank of the equipment. The 4 cycle edger has a valve to run the carb dry so to shut it off after each use I just shut off the gas and let it idle for a minute or so before it runs out of gas. My mower is 25 and the edger is 20. The leaf blower and string trimmer is 8 or 10 years old. Never had any issues.

I do use 100% gasoline, no alcohol gas.

The Ford GT is a cool car, and it is neat that an American manufacturer makes a car at that level. I guess the last Viper was built recently and they are going away. So just the Ford GT and the Corvette Z06 are the two big dogs. I just can't put the Hellcat in that category.

The new ZR1 will be the big American dog now. I will miss the Viper again. Bold, brash and unapologetic in its purpose. At least it went out setting track records everywhere. Still is setting records in other peoples hands.

Ah yea, I forgot the ZR1 is above the Z06.

They need to make it easier like Porsche does, The GT2 is top dog, the GT3 RS is below that then the GT3, and then down to GTS and ........

OK, Corvette has it pretty simple.

Used up a LOT of film going to car shows when I was in HS. It didn't help that it was right after I got my first 35mm either.

Yea, digital photography has forced me out of all three of my jobs since 1978 because of market changes. There are no professional photo labs anymore. Film is only great for LONG term storage of an image.

Back in the olden days the truism "film is cheap" was mostly a reminder, shoot lots of film, and cull out the bad shots. If you did not take the photo, it was missed forever. At press events I always carried two cameras with me. 36 exposures was luxury, 12 or 24 was typical with a Hasselblad.

Now we can shot 20,000 exposures on a project and not even think much about it.

Back in the days of working at Pro Photo I ran the film processors. There are control strips that Kodak provides, and we measure them and plot the differences in the chemistry. Kodak had a designation of "Pro Lab" if the lab could keep the plots very tight, and once per week send special strip Kodak sold us, back to Kodak. They would read it and plot it and verify our chemistries were within tolerance. A professional photographer on the road could use us and know his slides would come out processed properly and not be blue or green or too dark or light.

Time magazine had a photographer that would swing by and drop off 40 to 50 roll of film. I would process them and he would use our light table and sort through them. He would discard (trash) 99% of the shots. He would Fed-X them in the olden days and later he would have me scan them to send via FTP to Time magazine.

Mertnin,

Yeah, now that we have an almost unlimited number of photos I forget I have my camera and rarely take any. The memory card on my Travel Zoom camera holds over 2000 14 megapixel photos. Having enough charged batteries are more of a concern than having enough media.

I hauled my camera to Arkansas and back, and never took it out to use it. I just use my iPhone. I am waiting for the day when they put more cameras in the phones. I want a telephoto to go with the wide angle camera that they have now. No add on gizmos, built right in.

Yeah, I forget I can use my phone as a camera as well.

Before phones had cameras I used to carry a camera the size of a credit card and 1/4 inch thick that was 3 megapixels and had a 3x zoom.

One of the reasons I like my Panasonic Travel Zoom camera is that it is the size of a pack of cigarettes and still has a Lieca 20-800 zoom lens. And does 1080p movies with stereo, and the zoom zooms while shooting video like a real video camera.

Albeit the only thing I've used the video for is dash cam autocross. Pepper saying hello, and a time warp video of going the the corner store for a beer run and back in under a minute. And that was all from my phone and not the Travel Zoom.

Yea, but then ya gotta carry it around and mess it it. I want it all built in. And I want a setting for double the resolution as now, and another one for 4 times the current megapixels. And I want the price to go down, and I want.....

Hey it is the Christmas season!

Haven't even tried the "better" cameras, front or rear on my 7+. 2x optical zoom either.

They need a phone case that does the travel zoom, extra battery, works as a wallet, doesn't make it bigger and doesn't add any weight, oh and protects it when you drop it, including fumbling trying to catch it and end up tossing it bouncing on concrete.

Oh and an option to turn the phone into VR or AR glasses. Or maybe just some bluetoothed glasses that look like dark lens Raybans that do the VR/AR thing instead of the giant things that look like night vision goggles.
