Just made this salmon sandwich for lunch. Fresh french bread, brown butter caramelized shallots and fresh dill compound butter, tomatoes, boston lettuce, sour cream, dill sprigs, medium rare Atlantic salmon. Spread butter on both sides of bread and toast. It was amazing.

Fujifilm X-E2s. 18mm Lens ; I’m still learning the camera. Put the camera on aperture priority @ f2.8 and let the camera figure out ****ter.

this WOK + BURNER is changing my life! now that the rain is gone, i am 90% cooking outside. my home kitchen stays way cleaner..and that is a huge bonus.

i did fried-rice the right way. cooked the rice early, let it get completely cold and dry..etc.

whoa!! it tasted like a restaurant product..despite the SPAM.

haha.

no can do! my next batch is going to be dried salted fish fried rice. my neighbors are gonna hate me. that stuff is pungent when it hits the hot oil. most of america would consider it "fear factor food"

First ribs and brisket on the new smoker.

Ribs were great as usual, brisket was awful.

find a wide angle lens with camera that you can adjust aperture and you are golden.
