I agree -- the dancers with the lights in their costumes was terrific! I don't think anything like that has EVER been done before!

And the orginal Tron movie was also epic! 25 or so years ago...

It must be difficult to put on a good halftime show, because so many are so bad. The visuals were pretty good, but the music sucked. If they can ever make Gaga wear clothes, she'd be good.

I was just glad they didn't have a bunch of washed up stinky hippies from the 60s up there.

I agree! What a horrible venue for a musical program. You'd have to be nuts to agree to try to perform music in a football stadium unless you're a marching band.

I agree that the music totally sucked balls. The lights and stuff were cool, at least the geek in me liked it. I hate the BEPs, and didn't care for the political message either.

I have to laugh at the suggestion of having Aretha Franklin or Chuck Barry sing. Might as well give the football to OJ or Walter Payton and tell them to run it in for a TD.

I'm biased. They should get Rush to play the halftime show. Their fans span a few generations, Rush still tour, their chops are impeccable and they never put on a bad show. I doubt they'd ever do it, but at least it'd be a professional performance by some guys who always deliver.
