I was at a local car show...a local had ardun heads on a Mercury V-8. stuffed in an old T pickup. Foolishly, I asked the onwer what he'd do if he broke one. He replied: "I'd FIX it!" I'm sure he would...

Pic...now old, slow, and obsolete..

2.3L stroker 4G63.

Need to figure out my cooling issues. Huge aftermarket aluminum radiator with FAL slim fans overheated in no time. OEM rad/fan setup reinstalled. These fans won't fit in the cramped engine bay with the aftermarket rad.

Every time I see one of these beauties I wonder why in the world, with all the then-high tech they employed way back then that they didn't make those engines more "breathable"? They were great engines - superlative for their times - and often blown. But the single, small diameter carbs etc always make me scratch my head.

(Perhaps I'm just showing my ignorance...)

That's one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Beats Wayne's model flat six and that's something in itself.
