Rick, Michonne and Carl walked into the rabbit trap that he described earlier in the episode. Who says a beer at lunch doesn't contribute to my clarity (or, make me a master of the obvious)?

Oops. That makes more sense.

I knew when Rick buried his Python with the other guns that Terminus was no good. That gun is a huge part of his character.

IMO, that was a bit of a disappointing season finale. I was expecting some bigger turn(s) of events. One of things I love about this show is that they're not scared to kill off main characters, though I think it's time for someone else major to go now, to shake things up a bit.

Hi everyone, New to the forums but I found this one to be something I know about. I work for the company that does the makeup efx and I have built the mechanical puppets on the series. I really liked the finale except Ricks last line, you'd really think the writers could have come up with something a little more original. overall thought it was really good, and just so you know I won't give away any spoilers Glad to join the group, just purchased a 1980 911SC coupe. was under it fixing CV boots this weekend. sport exhaust on the way!

I would be very shocked if everyone in that train car survives the escape. I still think it will be Glenn.

I thought it was pretty good with the exception of wasting 15-20 min on those useless flashbacks. Good to see ol Hershal, but a waste of story.

^^^^^^^^^agreed^^ my thought exactly. Obviously saving big $$ by re-showing past clips. Out of 1 hr & 2 mins there was only @30 mins of actual new footage

On The Talking Dead, the executive producer said they brought Herschel back and filmed those scenes after the finale was shot - so it wasn't something we had seen before.

Also - there was a purpose for showing those scenes from a film-art and storyline perspective. The purpose was to put into context the changes in Rick (and Carl's) mantra as they went through their various experiences in dealing with survival in the zombie apocalypse.

I get why they were inserted. But I can also understand why they did not resonate with every viewer.

Different strokes for different folks......

I get that. With the Rick and Carl relationship being the focus of an earlier episode, I was looking for other meaning. Maybe I'm looking too deeply for meaning in a zombie show?

Went back and watched the ending again. The boxcar contains Glen, Maggie, Bob, Sasha, Tara, Abraham, Rosita, Eugene and Rick's crew.

Carol and Tyreese are still on their way to Terminus.

Welcome Eddie and thanks for your post and the awesome pic!

Please continue to post as appropriate - it's a long way until October so we'll need some periodic conversation to get by!

Although on April 14 Mad Men starts back up...

Great first post, Eddie! We need pics of your car, though! And more from the set are always fun

I get the flashbacks, and yes, it helps contextualize the changes to the characters, but that's something for a 2nd-to-last episode maybe. I though the season finale should've really left us hanging.
