But your point is well-taken - her character has evolved very dramatically. Quote:
But I still think it could be argued letting Lizzie turn wouldn't be any less humane.

I've always seen the killing of the zombies as mercy. As if they are stuck in a form of purgatory until actually dead, unable to move on to the afterlife. It's a very Christian way to think about it I suppose, but it seems reflected in the show. For instance, when they look in disdain at a trapped zombie then go the other way, vs going out of their way to kill a friend who turned (Hershel for instance).

You ever notice how the characters that suffered years of abuse before the zombie apocolypse are the most capable in making tough decisions?

Did Lizzie get bit and was fated to turn into a walker? Maybe I missed that.
She was definitely missing a few sandwiches in the lunch box, but I didn't see her demise from Carol. The way she was taunting the walkers and feeding them mice, I thought she'd get bit and turned into a walker. |

So what happened to the baby?

So... boom. Good riddance... I would've done the same thing with no hesitation. The baby would've probably been her next "experiment." She held her hand over Judith's mouth for an awfully long time in one of the previous episodes. That was a clue as to how twisted she was... that and all that sick stuff about giving rats to walkers.

She mentioned that she was just about to turn Judith as well.

I believe they were carrying Judith when they walked away from the house.

I'd rather Lizzy had killed Judith, and left Mika . . . although if the baby is the messiah that would mess up the plot. |

As the episode ended, Tyreese was carrying Judith like a papoose on his back. That grave with the baby shoes was already there when they came upon the house.

On the Talking Dead, Melissa McBride (Carol) seemed slightly off. I don't know if it was the heaviness of watching the previous episode or she didn't want to give too much away about the last two episodes of the season. She didn't seem like she could form a complete thought when asked certain questions. Maybe she is just uncomfortable being interviewed.

I saw Melissa McBride, along with other WD cast members, on Conan a while back and she was completely different...much more upbeat and at ease.

I knew it was coming because I'd accidentally read a spoiler. I know it is only acting. But I was still very unsettled by that episode. Harming children, and the death of, have been a "no go trope" on TV and in movies for so long -- and that last episode shattered that.

Am I the only one who thinks Melissa McBride is hot? I was never into older women but I think she has a nice face.
