Different eras, different fun
My buddy's 1960 Bugeye sprite Same guy's 1962 MGA my 1965 Pontiac GTO my '69 912 Currently...laugh if you must, but the Bullitt Mustang is fun in a quick yet comfortable way. And yes, the 1972 911S coupe was fun...until it's popularity ruined the fun.

Geoff is talking of the fun inside the van, I'm sure...

No contest.... beating on my Stradale was 10x more fun than anything (other than bikes) I've ever driven. That aluminum, titanium and carbon fiber can was absolutely animalistic when bouncing off the 9K redline.

(besides the pcar of course...)
'89 Civic hatchback. Good on gas, cheap and easy to fix, hauled everything, and very predictable with my many misjudgements.

I too love Mustangs, Paul! Mine's the one on the right.
Doesn't quite have the same ride quality of the ol' 68' Jimmy, though...

Geoff...the old "don't come knockin' if the van's rockin'", eh?
Early fastback, still the best looking Mustang to my sense of aesthetics. The '09 Bullitt is my first Mustang ever...still box stock, yet it's been enjoyable...

I know I will get flamed for this.
My 1994 Thunderbird, 4.6 V8, climate control, independent rear suspension, NASCAR aerodynamics (the faster you went the more the car pushed down). Drove as smooth at 110 as it did at 55.

pwd72s - they just don't know......yet. Soon....they will understand. ![]() What Porsche was is no more. Put an SC in that Bullitt and few 911's will stay with you. And the quality today is better than "those people over there." Try it...you'll like it! ![]() Ask me how I know. |
