Sure will be very short if you follow that advice across the board. I agree, you have to sin some places, but why eat an inferior product every day on your bread if you can find something that's equally tasty and doesn't have palm oil in it? Chronic exposure to high levels of that type of saturated fat isn't good IMHO. I don't even want to comment on feeding that to your kids ...

Yeah, but the latter part of that shorter life will be not so good.

We'll check again when you are 40, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and can't find your dick because your gut is hanging over it. Of course it isn't of much use then, because the BP medicine you will take also reduces the blood pressure in your Johnson. I am mid aged and I have friends who never cooked and ate processed foods all their life. Their cardiovascular systems are wrecked by the time they reach 40. Many of them probably won't see 55 or 60.

Of course, that's 50 years out for you.

I have been eating Justin's organic peanut butter with honey for a few months now. Not sure what the honey does, but it has a much better consistency than regular organic peanut butter. It's also available in single serving packets that are great for snacks.

I tell you the real stuff you have to stir is a PITA and yeah, when you are at the bottom it can get hard but I tell you once you get used to it you will not miss the taste of the Skippy. Believe me, it tastes terrible once converted.

A trick we have found is to keep the new jar in the cupboard upside down and then when you flip and open and stir the job is easier and end bit is more mixed. You do not have to keep it in the fridge if you eat it quick enough (not buy the 2 pound jar) but we do.

It's much healthier and you only get one change at it right, may as well get the most out of it (long life).

Ha, I thought I was the only one that cared about peanut butter one way or another. I use a small paint mixer attached to my De Walt drill to blend my natural P.B. The mixer goes in the P.B. and then a lid with a hole in it goes over the shaft then chucked into the drill { cue the boom chic a wow wow music} After a good mix it stays homoginized untll its gone. I keep a mixer and a spare lid in the kitchen drawer.

Think of it this way:
a). The human body is about 100deg.
b). Food that are soluable in hot water are likely to move through the veins easily as well.
c). Coconut, and Crisco, and fake peanut butters are normally solid at room tempurature.

We do Adams. Not stuck on the brand. Just don't bring that sugar / processed garbage into our house.

It really is a matter of how you want to live. I don't eat fast food anymore. It really is poison. Some of the above mentioned PB? Same type of poison.

Understand that some folks eat that. Most do. Have at it.

Sorry. People in the USA dont buy a jar that just says "Peanut Butter, Crunchy" on the label. Even if it is good.

Stirring with a knife makes things much easier. Ordinary butter knife.

Eat 2 open face pbj's on toast each morning for breakast, excepting Sunday's when I head to the local bakery and get whatever I want.

Lo and behold, my daughters have done it to me again. First it was Nutella and now they added some Honey Roasted Peanut Butter - Skippy I think - to the pantry for a baking project. Now I like HR peanuts, but the mix with Nutella in a graham cracker - a nice unhealthy snack. Still better for me than most things in a wrapper.

Here is a safe for work image collection of baked yummies from google: https://www.google.com/search?q=honey+roasted+peanut+butter&hl=en&safe=active&tbm=isch&prmd=imvnse&source=lnms&ei=oBqgT4nbOuGciQKQ17T3AQ&sa=X&oi=mode_link&ct=mode&cd=2&ved=0CGkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1440&bih=787
