Open a door to get mail and your ACD walks out with you to the mailbox.

Open the door and your huskie is 1 mile away.

Vacuum your house and there;s some fur in your dyson from your ACD

Vacuum your ROOM and need to unload your dyson's container.

feed two ACD's in the same room

Feed two Huskies in the same room, Vet bill for TWO and a DR bill for you

Tell you ACD to go out twenty yards and sit and he does.

Tell your huskie.. eh, never mind.

I miss my huskies. Every time that I see one I NEED to pet it and check it out. I don't think that I will EVER have another huskie.

DTW - you're killing me brother... That was the sweetest story ever, I'm supposed to be WORKING but my face is leaking...

LTD was well named, but I think that you're pretty lucky yourself to find such a great little guy.

Australian Working Dog Rescue, a New South Wales-based nonprofit, posted this shot of a cattle dog named Chooey to its Facebook page on Wednesday. The pooch was resting easy on her final day at the rescue farm before heading to her adoptive home.

Only one (thank God). But he's from a litter of three Border Terriers. His sister Twiggy (LOL) is also a "blue" whereas his other sister is a regular brown Border. He's OK, he's just hard work at the moment. Very thick skinned, the cat beats him up for being cheeky and he thinks "Ha, I've finally got the cat to play with me."

Here's Buzby with his uncle Rooney.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the post!

"A dog and his cowboy" by artist Fred Fields

Fred Fields - Work Detail: A Dog and His Cowboy

Quote:

Some work, some oversee from the shade of a Mesquite tree. I was at a ranch near Cave Creek, AZ with my camera. I follow the guys around while they attend to their various cowboy jobs. I take re Every ranch has a few dogs of questionable breeding hanging around. ference photographs and try my best to stay out of the way. The ranch boss, who I only knew as Bud, had these two dogs that followed him everywhere. Those dogs loved him to no end. As the sun peaked over the mountains the guys were standing around a fire having the last of the coffee. Bud sat down in front of a tent on a bed roll. His dogs decided it would be an opportune time to show their affection for Bud. This painting depicts Bud and one of those dogs. Each dog had a short length of chain around their leather collar with both ends of the chain hooked to the D ring on the collar. Whenever there was a chance the dogs might get trampled, Bud would unhook one end of the chain and attach it to a gate or fence.
9x12 and says it's SOLD but you may be able to contact the artist and inquire about a print (?) In fact if you click on the photo it opens up a larger image and below is a link to contact the artist about that print.

Good luck! ;)

EDIT: Just found his blog and more info on that painting....
