Sad...I have a good friend in SF who just retired. He was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma...hot one...at the base of his tongue... He's had chemo and rads and is in so much pain he can hardly eat or even swallow. Radiation burn most likely but who knows if it stirred up the tumor as well. SQC in the mouth is very bad. Life just ain't fair sometimes... |

URY914,
Looks a lot like mine (Roscoe) at about 3 months. English Bulldogs are fantastic as long as you keep up with the medical issues and don't mind a lot of farting and snoring. Our Frenchie (Rosy) is a crazy, neurotic freak of a dog but we love her. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1372779144.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1372779163.jpg |

Politics going on here. Rooney (border terrier on left) thinking if this german sheppard attacks my friend Buzby I'll take him (but lets hope I don't have to), and it's the little white dog's house so he's overseeing all the games.

Wilber (lab/shepherd mix) with springtime tree fluff on the pond. This dog can outrun a deer - I've seen him do it a number of times. Greyhounds he can't outrun, but he can probably run for a longer time.

Sorry
Hate to do this, but my dog is the best. He sits upon a pedestal above all other dogs.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1373653133.jpg

Meet Hades. He showed up outside my friend's door one day to adopt her, as her dog had been killed last year.
Hades looked hungry and pathetic, but was too nervous and scared to come close to anyone. While his history is a blank slate, we think it is possible he was abused. Over the course of a few weeks she won his trust and finally was able to get him to a vet to get checked out. With a clean bill of health, she let him into the house and he is now a member of the family. It took another month or two for me to even get these pics. He was so clingy at first, that any attempt to take a picture of him just resulted in a frame full of doggy nose. Now he seems to be pretty well socialized and happy to have a loving family. As sweet as he is, you can see there's still one member of the family that's not sold on his arrival! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1373655953.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1373655978.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1373656017.jpg |
