Do you remember the “dog pimp” episode of married with children?

Guy a few blocks over has one that is a Rott/Lab mix that is his twin, guess I could do DNA testing on both of them, but that seems a bit silly for rescue dogs. They said the brindle one was a Dutch Shepherd, but they only go 70#, and this guy is 120# at a year old. Maybe he has some mastiff, or jumbo size German Shepherd in him

I was trying to find other breeds with the distinctive center facial stripe:
Boston Terrier
King Charles and Springer Spaniels
Borzoi/whippets
There is another breed of red/black/white stripe that is similar to a Newfoundland. Forgot the name.

The square ears still look beagle/lab/terrier as does the short hair.

Most likely, he's an American Staffordshire Terrier, or a mix with one.

The DOG thread

Lil old guy is really slowing down. Decided to take him on a mini road trip to the Lake Tahoe area while scouting a new kayaking launch points. He perked right up once we hit the lake area. Rolled down the window so he could soak up the cooler air and smells. Yes, that is a belted doggie booster car seat with a secured harness he wears in the car. We “used” to be cool..........
