That rifle is gorgeous, hopefully he takes many a animal with it to put on the table. :)

pulled these out to take to the range the other day.

Turkey winning "chunk gun"! I finished putting a Unertl scope on it today after making a solid one piece scope block.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1461376112.jpg

Here is a pretty AR15 that a buddy of mine built. Hell, I could almost own one that looks like this:

If any of us are stuck in California and you want a semi automatic rifle with a detachable magazine get on it! there's a ban waiting for a liberal governor to sign.

OK, no pic yet but a question. I am looking for a holster for a full size 1911 that is comfy for a 5'11" frame. I have a generic OWB for when I mow so I can swap the .2 barrel in and shoot the stupid rodents that get into the garden and such. Looking for a IWB for concealment for those times I would want to carry it. I am not too overweight.

Now I have a pic from out getting it "broken in".

Hard to beat the beauty of a Kimber 1911.
|
It was also hard to keep it to myself. The kids and dad went out ad they all shot it as well. It is a blast with the .22 conversion on it as well. I finally had to tell our youngest to let others have a turn.
For break in Wally World had WWB for $72 for a box of 200 rounds. They only had one box left. |
One of our friends had this happen. Marines and their equipment.

Here is our little single shot .22 we let the kids start with.
