Thanks! 2012...I think! I ordered the frame new from Bianchi last year and built it up.

Just got this yesterday and spent today putting most of it together. Going to ride it this Friday and dial it in then. When I saw it in the shop. I couldn't resist.

very, very cool. Assume it was a reputable shop, as that frame is one of the "hot" Chinese knockoffs now. Always wanted a real one. The Ridley in the background is sweet as well.

If it's the same one I'm thinking of it's for sale on eBay Aus for about $120.

Are they any good?

edit: I am a big fan of Look pedals. Just think, Look pedals in a time frame would be a crime. Oh, that big fat stem is coming off and the new one will be slammed into the head set

Yeah, its from my friend's shop so its not a knock off. My front teeth are too valuable to be buying stuff like that. He got it in a few months ago and its been hitting me in the face the last couple of time I walked through the door for inner tubes. When I took it off and held it in my hand, that was it. The Ridley is my go to bike now. Its a really stiff riding bike, which I really like plus, I am a really big Belgian bike fan so I had to have one since I have always ridden Italian and a few domestic frames.

I'll report back on the ride quality in a couple of weeks. My only other French bike was a Look KG 171 years back. I felt in love with the ride quality, but soft when banging off the saddle. I hope the Time will ride the same but a stiff BB and a little snap back off the saddle.

Any good as in approaching a real Time-nah. The various replibikes are okay for what they are, lots of guys are happy with their Chinarello's, Tarmac knockoffs, fake S5's and whatnot, but my personal take is why? You can buy some pretty nice frames China direct, so why the need to ride something that's labeled what it isn't?

I ride a Hongfu fm066-frame weight under 900g, geometry almost identical to a Supersix Evo, but it doesn't look like anything much more than what it is. Performs outstanding, and rides ok-great rear compliance, but a little harsh in the front end, due to a 1 1/8x 1.5 fork that's maybe stiffer than it needs to be but probably contributes to its precision.

If you want the fashion, I don't think you'll lose your teeth-and if you Google enough you can be scared off of any frame-steerers and stems etc break, and carbon's failure mode is spectacular and unforgiving. I've been tempted by the fauxS5s, because the originals don't ride particularly great anyway, but I can't bring myself to do it.

Shhhh. I open the thread and hey... that looks familiar.

Decided to leave the paint original. Screw the chips and battle scars. Gives it character and I plan to pounce on this steel. Kept the early-mid 80's era theme on it. DT shifters, top feed non-aero brake levers, toe clips, even the cables, bar tape, O2 cage and yes, a first gen Avocet - Made in Ol' USA cyclecomputer. Eroica.

Thanks again JB -
