^^me too.... someday. Last month was at a bike show/swap, met a seller with a 25 or 26 lbs all carbon fat tire! The rubber is where most of the weight is but that is crazy lightweight for a fatty. Seller described riding it unlike any typical ATB. Different lines thru singletracks and you just charge over everything, far less correcting or steering around small ruts / rocks.
The only fat tire I tried was a budget Origin 8 with the Nuvinci infinite variable hub. Heavy but I liked it. It was chain drive but I understand they also offer a belt drive. The hub worked very well yet a weird sensation how easily the ratios change. Has a cute little indicator. I don't much beyond that or of its robustness.

I finally saw a fat bike in the snow the other day when I was cross-country skiing (99% of them seem to be hipsters on paved rail trails and roads
) Anyway, it looked like fun but not fun enough to spend thousands to buy something decent or to cut into my skiing time. I also wonder with the extra-wide BB if one would develop knee problems from riding one of these? Any serious road riders out there who also ride a fat bike to comment on that?

fatbikes- At first sight, I laughed but have met a few hardcore riders with them. They explained as not to replace your fleet but is specialized and extra workout. I forget what they had but mentioned cost $2-3k! Way out of my league and wants. If had one though, probably wouldn't be using one in the summer but more inclined to winter on snow hardpacked trails, frozen lakes - as depicted.
The CF fatbike at the swap meet mentioned above was trick. The seller lowered the price a $1,000 to ($2,500 net) but still way too rich for me. Deceiving how heavy it looked but was actually crazy light. Had a very wide shaped carbon monocoque frame. The one concern on that machine was how thin the layers probably are and what happens if you dink it? carbon fiber rims too:

Ok...I opened up my laptop and can see "90" stamped on the stem. For the bars, measure from the center of one side to the center of the other, choosing the widest point. You'll have more interest if the sizes are listed.
Good luck!

SR bars are measured center to center. With a 90 mm stem, I am pulling this outta my butt here, the bar might be 40 mm C -C
