The 'timeless' classic! George Daniels, Confente bike.

Investment grade. Curious what the final bid will be. Right now the same as higher end new CF bike.

Mario Confente bicycle number 58

^^

Lots of heavy springs at the worst possible place on a wheel, plus a whole 'nother steel hoop, and kids on tricycles would out accelerate the Badger.

I don't even want to think about how loose the brake caliper would have to be to compensate for the slop that those springs would allow.

Hence my asking if anyone had ridden one! Looks like a disaster waiting to happen!

Did anyone live to tell the tale?

Thanks! All repurposed parts! The headtube had 2 hairline cracks and wasn't being covered under warranty. I bought it cheap last year for the Ultegra parts and built up a Guru Geneo. The wheelset is Bontrager carbon 650c front fine, with a cracked rear hub. Do I have to say anything beyond.....650c? Fun project!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1430094559.jpg

there's that wheel again but without tires. Looks like its just a steel band. some kind of military issue bike? More info?

Post your bids now! (I was lucky enough to see this collection when it was displayed at Portland Art Museum!)

While out on a ride yesterday with other vintage road racers, this was most definitely exotic ~ cambio corsa.
