I see plenty of new Cayennes Macans and recent 911's poking around in the truck lane doing 100 kph. It's embarrasing.
If you drive a Porsche, you gotta represent, LIKE YOU STOLE IT.

I hear you on that. And, I know you use your p/u for its intended use! I absolutely hammer my sports cars whenever I can on every on-ramp... etc. I think the majority of those drivers just wanna remain under the radar because they know they're easy targets for the PoPo...

Even when I'm in the Silverado I'm hammering it. ![]() There's certain areas here where I can do it without risking a citation or danger to others, including 4 legged critters. Yesterday I picked up sod, 10' long lumber, and some roof coating. The day I took this pic it was a patio door and fence pickets. Every week I use it for work and it's loaded with hand held power equipment and other odds and ends. I always empty it out though between uses. Which brings me to another pet peeve. Truck owners who continually carry everything but the kitchen sink in their truck beds, regardless of what they need that day. And that includes empty cans, bottles, and just straight out trash! ![]()

On Amazon when reading product reviews, they mix in reviews on similar products from the same manufacturer rather than limiting the reviews to the exact product you are looking at.

A CV19 pet peeve
Went to Wallyworld today. Numerous people (usually elderly) stop in the middle of the isle and stare at the shelf for a full 1-2 minutes. Only 2 or 2.5 feet between them and shelves on either side. Effectually a road block. Probably the same folks who cruise at 55 mph in the left lane of the interstate with a 60-70 limit..

People who have a runny nose and sniff and sniff rather than blowing their nose.
People who eat with their mouth open. I don’t need to see it or hear it.

The streets are almost empty here. Yet people still launch themselves onto pedestrian crossings in front of cars. The drivers dutifully SLAM on the brakes of course. But why don't the walkers just wait five or ten seconds...

If you got my email address correct I probably got your email. Now did I read your email? That's the question that should be asked...

He still talks about that crazy fast ride. Shortly after that I followed him to his sister's house to haul some piece of furniture in my El Camino. We never got within 5 MPH of the speed limit. 40 MPH roads were taken at 35 MPH. On the trip back I certainly knew the way home. I was back to his place and had the furniture un-strapped, and all the padding folded and was ready to unload before he pulled up. He is a super nice guy, but I never want to take a road trip with him.

Glen, there was a guy at my work who would only talk about cars and how fast his hotted up rice burner is - much better than a Porsche of course, so I politely agreed with him.
I arranged a track day at Manfield race track where we could really cut loose for the day and really be car guys. He was really looking forward to it and talking lots of BS in the pub sessions where we worked our where/when to meet up and our drive to the track. When we got to the track he wouldn't go out because it looked too dangerous or something... then on the way home in moderate traffic he was doing high speed sprints and dangerous passing manoeuvers to impress us
