Yup, simple supply and demand. Porsche built more 996s than any prior 911, and they are relatively new so there are lots of nice cars to choose from. In 20 years when many of them have been crashed or parted out you might see a slight upswing like the 944s, 914s, and 928s seem to be experiencing, but I don't ever see them as collector cars. The only exception to that statement would be the rare cars like the GT3 and GT2, which don't seem to be getting any cheaper.

Its a great color combo but owner said "everything has been replaced, engine, drivetrain, interior, wheels, etc etc. He bought it from his good friend who had a box of reciepts.
