Here's my 1976 CB750 Four. For a 38 year old bike this thing moves. When they first appeared on the scene they were called the first Super Bike.
Several items on the bike are not model correct, original or missing but are being sorted out now. Also decided to rewire it.

It's awesome to see a 750F with a 'stock' look! Most of them have been all bastarded up.

I agree 100% but my bike is actually a 750 K6.

That's a great looking Honda 750. They never were considered fast, though, not even when new.

Really .................this content is giving me a wood-drow. I'm not sure what's better the bikes or the quality of the photography. Almost art .........................

My bad! Didn't realize you were abbreviating. Thought you were confusing it with the model 750F. Nice bikes and better performance but I like the look of the K better.

Great thread, its amazing what comes out of the woodwork when you ask car guys about old bikes.

Speeder, did you notice a big difference in temperature with the fairing lowers removed on your RS? My dream bike is a gold '78 RS and I've heard they can be quite toasty in summer.

One of the first over the counter racers produced in Japan was the TD1 Yamaha released in 1963. In typical Japanese fashion, this YDS engine family had engineering and styling taken from the German Adler 250. Their availability started the ball rolling, and 10 years later the grids were flooded w 250, 350 then 750 Yamaha's worldwide. This corporate thinking helped put proficient and reliable racers in the average man's hands. A lot like Porsche did with the RS and cup cars in a sense if you had the cash.

I love seeing the diversity and quality of machines posted here!

Very cool sand_man. Pretty sure Giacomo has championship records that may never be equaled.

It's crazy how some can achieve such greatness and walk away, even if with some "battle scars". And others expire doing what they love. Also extends to four wheeled racing....

No, thank you! I didn't understand the difference. This made me google it and so some research. :)

The early BMW R100RS (1977-1984) will be to motorcycles what the early 911's are to cars. They used to be reasonably priced. I have been watching the prices on low mileage units steadily climb. Great motorcycles. And an investment you can enjoy.

I once had a 750F.

Since the thread started with a KZ1000....how about this.

Just picked itup last Sunday. 2000 KZ1000P with 30,XXX miles from California. She still pulls like freight train. 111+ ft-lbs of torque.

Next to a 1980 KZ1000P that my buddy stores at my place.

Wear a white half-helmet & a black leather jacket while on your KZ1000P and I'll bet you'll calm down traffic. :)
