Belicheck and Brady are very successful and win allot. That's because they are really good and work really hard.
Some folks tend to hate winners and hate success. They hate winners so badly they make up silly stuff. They make silly claims and silly accusations. That's cause they are loooooooosers. No offense. ![]() I am a big patriots fan and have been for a long time because they are a class act. And i like winners and winning. I respect and admire winners. As opposed to being JEALOUS of them. The patriots are the anti-raiders. |

Similar complaints were made against the Showtime Lakers of the 80s. When playing at home they would overinflate the ball, to assist in making the fast breaks faster. Magic liked the ball that way. And when the played on the road, opposing teams would make the nets a little longer, so it would take more time for the ball to drop through and slow the tempo of the game a split second.
This is a non-issue; it's called home field advantage.

![]() How many of those Pats Superbowl wins were accomplished on the up-and-up and without any cheating involved? Only Belicheck knows, and he's not saying. Look - these days, the NFL is full of thugs, ex-cons, soon-to-be convicts, and cheaters. Pats are known for cheating - they've been caught cheating, and they will continue to cheat and push the boundaries in order to gain an upper hand. If the Pats are so good, why would they need to cheat? So why do I poke fun of the Pats? (See point #1). -Z

Maybe the next time the Colts play the Pats they'll remember to bring their defense along for the trip?

It is so much fun to poke at the Pats fans. They seem to get annoyed real fast with this sort of stuff.... That said, the Colts did play miserably last weekend -- heck - even my team (**cough** Jets **cough**) would have had a chance to win against them! ![]() -Z

They always win and my team always looses so I hate their guts and they must be cheating etc etc etc!
Emotional posts with emotional accusations based on an emotional dislike of a very good team. I hope there's enough emotion to go around! |

![]() Miserably isn't the word for it. The Colts got stomped like they did against the Steelers. Bill B took a page from that game. Power running and pass when the run opens it up. |

It is being reported that 11 of the 12 balls tested were under inflated. This might get interesting. They'll still play in the S.B. as there is no way to go back at this point. But it should be interesting to see how the league handles this going forward.

The Seahawks are getting their excuses ready for losing the S.B. already, lol!
This is such a non-story. A good team will win convincingly in good or bad weather, day or night, home or away, with good equipment or not. Just like the Patriots have been doing for a long time. A big part of why is that they tend to show up and play all 60 minutes, not just show up for a few and hope to catch a lucky break during those few minutes. This should be a great S.B. It has the potential to be one of the best ever. I hope it doesn't disappoint. |

11 of 12 footballs underinflated.
The worst part is, the Pats completely outplayed the Colts and DIDN'T NEED TO DO THIS--so why would they? I think I posted it earlier in this thread CHEATERS GONNA CHEAT.

I am a little confused.
Did both teams use the same balls? Or did the pats get the special balls?
