Looks like Gerry McCarthy has skipped town, with my money. Beware of this guy, the mid/late 50's year old deaf man pawning porsche repair services. He has connections on both ends of the country and could be anyplace.

Just an update on Gerry Mc Carthy (aka Gerard McCarthy, Jerry McCarthy) He is still believed to be in the Pleasanton Area. He has refuesed to negotiate any payment for the damages he admitted to cause on both my cars. He has not returned my 356 parts either. He recently was found selling tools and parts on Craigslist.
I am still missing Fog light holders, and a pair of door handles with locks, he also held on to some new reproduction rocker panels that he owes me. (This in addition to the thousands owed for damage to both my cars, money paid for repairs that were totally wrong (doors didn't even fit the car any more)). If you see any of these items for sale by him, (deaf man in his mid fifties) please contact me ASAP. Although he claims to be a Porsche expert, he has had other cars in his shop, including VW's, Chevrolet, Audi. So he may try to work on your other cars. This former California School for the Deaf Auto Body Shop Teacher is to be avoided at all costs if you value your property. Although he currently is hiding form his responsibilities he is believed to still be in the Pleasanton area do to family connections.  Here is a photo of Jerry McCarthy (aka Gerard McCarthy, Gerry McCarthy) (son of Gerry McCarthy, engine builder at KAM Motors in CT (retired)) he is most likely in the Richmond Calif. area He is a theif, druggie, and has a Porsche habbit (he steals money and parts from the owners.) beware of him. He still has many stolen parts and has thousands in damages he owes. He is on the run, but may rear up to steal again. |

All the worse since his son had scheduled another 356 registry member to have his car worked on. That member was however warned in time and never brought is car to Jerry based on my warning. At anyrate Jerry Jr is still on the run, stole my parts, damaged my cars and made off with my money for work he either never performed or did so poorly it actually caused more work to have it repaired than before he got his slimy mitts on my cars. Watch out for Jerry McCarthy Jr. and I don't at all care for his old mans tactics of protecting his son by threatening to silence me, preventing other 356 owners form being warned. Real class act the McCarthy clan is. (NOT)  Anyway I figured I'd bump this post as Jerry Jr.'s last contact to me was a taunting email. He is still out there and in all likelihood still dealing with 356's and 914's someplace in a crooked way. |
