Very interested in this. I have the full leather interior with a leather cover over the round (factory std) shifter. I guess that wouldn’t fit over this one ?
I want to keep the interior 100pct original. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Got mine today and even though I’ve haven't installed it I can say the workmanship and quality is amazing cant wait to install it as my cars centerpiece since all my interior is black this will pop out just righthttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1621716411.jpg

Looks like a really nice shifter. With positive reviews to back it up. I actually really like the square stock and the trellis design. I deleted the center console in my 930 years ago and prefer the look of the exposed shifter. However, the transition from the square stock to the round stock used for the extension looks very clumsy. At least to me. I wonder if rather than offering extensions it would be possible to offer a few different length shifters. In other words, a longer one piece as opposed to a threaded extension. Possibly to late to make it financially viable at this point.
Either way, thanks for offering up another option for us. |

I like the look of the exposed shifter myself but have some concerns with the long term accumulation of dust/dirt gumming up the works. I keep a boot on mine. |
If anyone is interested Numeric just added the gearshift knob with extender pieces on their website.

I received my setup a few weeks ago and finally installed it though I hear a "whining" sound when I am in 1st or 2nd. Adjusted fore/aft, but that did not help. I understand that it is because of the spring loaded affect.
This sound was not there with the stock shifter. Any thoughts? Serge |
Spring load on 1-2 shift fork.It is saying maybe fork you?
As it wears down the brass shift fork it should get quieter.Turn the stereo up a hair and open windows if it persists. My Tinnitus is really bad so I would never hear it.Ciao

Has anyone else installed this shifter, especially comparing it to Wevo or Rennshift? I have it installed in my car but the 40% travel reduction is a little much for me, so before I go and spend more money on the extension and shift knob, I am curious to hear other thoughts.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll be very interested to see come comparisons with Rennshift.
QUOTE=bigmo;11358372]So I installed their longest extension and knob. It is the best experience I have had driving the car. I am tall, so reaching the shifter was a bit of a problem. I got the tighter springs, so before the extension it was very precise almost too precise. The extension smooth all of that out. Still precise, but just feels smoother. The shift knob is a good size and feel. Highly recommend the setup, smooth with no slop! I have a friend who is 5'9", he drove with and without the extension and loved the longer extension as well.[/QUOTE] |

I did stay in a Holiday Inn once. |
I installed this on my 930 this wkd. Wow, what a difference. The shifts feel as crisp as my Honda race car and the S2000 I used to have!!

This shifter looks really interesting. If all the lever was cylindrical (like the top extension) I would purchase it without second thoughts.

Is NumericRacing offering some kind of discount or sale pricing for Pelican members?...Last months sale looks to be over...
Maybe a Labor Day sale? I'd be interested in a shifter, knob and pedals |
