Notice also the repetitive listing of 6190001-6192455 even for the 911E?
And the correct numbers for 901/09 are 6290001-6292270 not 2455; sheesh, so many errors in one page.

That's a '73.5 2.4 CIS 911T model - 911/51 is the correct engine type number for this model.

Paint code is Metallic Silver

6124238 is the correct engine type, but the wrong year. The body is a 1973, and the engine is 1972. 936 is silver paint.

Sorry - my mistake. It's a '72 engine as djpateman pointed out.

The engine isn't the correct type for the car either - 911/51 is an mfi 2.4T engine whereas the VIN is for the later CIS model 2.4T.

That serial seems appropriate for the VIN so could well be the original.

Isn't 930/10 the higher HP (204) with 9:8.1cr? Effectively a Euro spec motor? My 930/10 Euro SC has the euro 204hp 9:8.1 engine with Mahle/nickie's

Don't have my book with me either.

OK, that confirms what the PO claimed.... Euro spec from 83.... I just had my doubts. Now, next question(s) this engine has the air injection pump and catalytic convertor. Did Euro engines come equipped like this or are these possibly add-ons to make it compliant with California emissions? This car did come from Cali....

An euro spec 930/10 shouldn't have any smog pump (only for 78/79 SCs) or a cat w/02 sensor. However most got some form of em missions equipment when brought into the USA and federalized.
Stop all that crap off and put SSIs on it! These are great little engines. Luv mine.
Being in SoCal it has to and does pass smog with cat & 02 sensor.

Actually the 930/10 did come with an air pump, but no cat. All the RoW 3.0 SC motors came this way.

Yes, your '83 930/10 RoW would have come with an air pump, but no cat. Are you sure you are not mistaking the pre-muffler for a cat? It can be decieving and it often fools smog inspection stations.

Hi all. Hoping the engine number gurus can help out.
My old friend and mentor passed on a couple of years ago, (he was the PO of my 1975 911S) and he had some used motors squirreled away. Helping his family unload some of the parts, and I'm working to ID the motors at the moment, then determine some values.
Two motors:
6105367
911/07

6533127
911/57

Any help would be supremely appreciated.

Well according to the Red Book which is wrong from time to time, the Serial's Numbers does not match the engine type in both cases. But does lean toward the 911T model

How sure are you of the serial #'s

6105367 ==> 911T ,911/08 US Sporto
911/07 ==> 911T, 6103501 - 60104547

6533127 ==> 911T, 911/59
911/57 ==> 911T, 6520001 - 6523284
