Franny - The vertical part does fold down, so it stores easily. I do leave the top release handles in. I do not think I have ever removed them.

I used to put them in the glove box but when you need them its a job to find them, so I put them under the passenger carpet. Keep in mind that in the last 5 years I put the top up 4 times, mainly because the other half said I had too... I drove in sub 32 Fahrenheit a lot of time with the top down. A lot of local P guys think that I don't have a roof under the cover. Well maybe next year project, remove the top enjoy the weight loss and the look of a speedster cover ;) |
Thanks Vance,
When I got my car the two handles were different making me wonder if one flew the coupe (so to speak). Franny |

Bump, just cause it's that time of year to gloat.

We had our cab out for a Sunday drive last weekend and came across a cool photo op spot:

That is great! Where is that? My daughter is now working just south of Charlottesville and I'll likely be driving my Cab down there on the next visit. I'd love to get a shot like that!

The mural is on the side of Bremo Pharmacy in Richmond. Let me know when you'll be in the area and perhaps I could join you (and a few others) for a photoshoot in front of the mural. The mural itself is pretty neat. This is what the whole image looks like: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1437137029.jpg |

I also meant to mention, I've started a 911SC Cabriolet Registry for first year Cab owners BUT since Cab owners are a unique breed, I've added a 1984+ 911 Cabriolet Discussion forum for all Cabriolets! cheers, Michael |
Here is a picture of ours at the RPM this year in June.

Great RPM event photos! Beautiful cars. I hope to see a 918 in the flesh sometime.
I really enjoyed the lozenge pattern car. I have this hanging in my office... Franny http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1437155858.jpg |
