I folded the bar the "correct" way today and noticed that the cab now sits about 3 inches higher when folded down.....

Well I tried folding the top with the bar on the inside this afternoon. It took me three times and assistance from my car pooler to finally get the bar to fold in. As the top (powertop) was opening I gently pushed the bar in and the top seem to fold alot neater then normal. The first two times I tried opening the top the bar got stuck in the outside position, but the third time I used a little pressure and it snapped into the inside position. everthing seemed ok.

The one thing I havn't tried is putting the top back up. I'll try to get some pics if nothing is broken.

Here is mine. I have been folding mine correctly. The bar makes it a SNAP to neatly fold the top.

Here is my picture to add to this thread. Also, I have a picture of my top down with the bar on the inside. The top folds neater, but you can really see how bad I need a new head liner. Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest (cheap digital camera).

You could rip out the torn piece. If I recall correctly, it was much better looking without the sagging cloth pieces.

The headliner on my cab recently started tearing to shreds....I ripped about half of it out....and noticed that the "flap" noise of the canvas top in the wind at top speed is much greater than it is with the headliner in place.

Great looking Turbo body and wheels there...DJB
