Ok sorry I thought you mentioned it would be impossible. I bit the toung.
I still say add a fan and run it with a toggle. I'm confident you'll need it in traffic. Not driving as that front mount is great. But in the traffic you'll wish you had one. It's easy and cheep. I got a spall 5 or 6" fan I think. It does the job.

Installing 95 993 3.6 into 69 T/RSR

Guess who's going to Rennsport?

Turns out we had a very corroded idle control valve, and that is why it was running so poorly. Jae stole one from a working car, and will order a new one in for me on Monday.

I can't say enough about Jae Lee and his team at Mirage International. Not only did he build all of the 3.8L motors for Singer, he's just unwilling to be defeated when these little issues crop up. He came in for 5 hours on a Sunday morning to get this thing figured out for me. If you ever need anything done, and you're anywhere in the USA, Jae is the MAN.

Now I have to finish fitting the front bumper, do the seals on the front and rear bumper.

I also have no tach, no temp gauge, and no speedo. The speedo is disconnected, so that's an easy fix. Not sure about the others yet.

The video doesn't do it justice. The sound is raspy and badass.

Congratulations! And 100% agree with everything you said about Jae. He really is something special! Look forward to seeing the grey ghost up in Monterey!

Thanks guys. I might be making the trip solo...we'll see.

Still have no tach and no engine temp. Have to solve that.

But, after many hours of cursing and fabrication, I have a front bumper with all new seals.

There really needs to be a tutorial for installing that front hood/bumper seal on a long hood. It's a pain, and you really have to slice it up to get it to fit well.

Jae sounds like a good guy!

How have you modified that muffler? Have you opened it up or just welded on the new openings?

It's how I bought it from Patrick Motorsports. Right now the engine is spaced down a bit. I'm going to relocate the idle air controller from the top of the motor so I can move it back up
a few inches.

No problem. Just text the word "porsche" to 33444 on your cellphone, then enter your email. Or, you can go to rennch - a Porsche mechanic in your pocket - How to Fix Your Porsche At Home and enter it there.

That souns a lot like the problem I'm having now.
Do you remember what wire that wasn't connected properly?
