Both vents gone and primed, started and run through the gears. On the ground tonight for a work car show tomorrow. She's starting to look like a car again!

Nice work brasch bringing back this oldie but goodie. I have a similar old 74 that I would like to fit a 930 motor into, but wonder about the Duck Tail and Intercooler fitment. Can you tell us what was done to clear this? Also, the 72 has steel fuel lines through the tunnel. Can you tell us anything about what was done to install the two pumps that feed the turbo motor? I believe you said this was done in Germany years ago. Len :) |
I'm putting the car back on the hoist tomorrow, I'll take Picts of the dual fuel pump setup then.
Here are some Picts if getting the ducktail to fit with an intercooler, minor tweaks of the fiberglass and removing the rubber on top of the intercooler. Does anyone know what the difference between struts with ball joint pins and a bolt are? Can you guys help me? I have two different front struts, both 3" spacing one has a bolt to attach to the ball joint, the other has a pin. Can I put adjustable Konis in these? Also I'm changing my front sway bar to a 21mm stock bar, what do I need to do to the shocked? I'm still working on all my suspension part rebuilds but my buddy just delivered to me a set of sweet baggo/corn hole boards. Will be great for garage days this summer!
