Is anybody out there running an idle control valve? Curious if anybody has it and the connector part numbers readily available. Best I’ve come up with it part# 1240888, but not especially confident in that.

Hey Clay,
What spark plugs are you running?
I need to change mine to some 5/8" hexes so the Audi COPs will fit.

Thanks in advance!
Chris

I'm using NGK BCPR7ES from Rasant.

They work great with the Audi COPs

I use NGK BKR8EIX and BR8EIX. Dual EDIS, 10.5CR. Seems to work well

I just finished my swap over to Clay's ITB set up. He was extremely helpful every step of the way, gathering parts (i am in Australia so it was very helpful to not have to pay multiple shipping charges) and advice as I went. I can definitely recommend the setup, and this thread and Clay were so helpful in successfully finishing the change.

Is this kit still available? Haven’t been able to access CCMs website for awhile.

I’ll have to check my photobucket account, it should still be active.

I still have 10 or so manifold sets available, once those are gone i don’t plan on doing another run for awhile, if at all. Focusing on the day job and family, so I’ve suspended the CCM website.

Still available here to answer any questions.

how many manifold sets are out there in the wild? Just curious.

BTW, my stock internal 3.0 laid down 203whp with the Triumph T595 Daytona ITBs and injectors.

Hey Clay, that's a bummer but can understand the decision! Do you still have any of the linkage setups available?

There are about 45 sets out there and I have another 6 on hand.

Nice numbers!

what is the fuel consumption with this set up?

My refurbed K-jet on the stock 79 3.0 withh SSI does an average of 11-13l/100km.
its boring to watch my carbed-friends stopping 1-2 times during a road trip whil I just get a chocolate bar...

Haha! Its better than it was with CIS but I haven't actually kept a good log of fuel usage so no real numbers. At cruise (5-10% throttle or so) running 42-45 degrees advance on the ignition doesn't require much fuel to generate the power to maintain speed.
I wish that AEM had a fuel consumption calculation built in to the software. Unfortunately it's feeling like they aren't planning to support many new features or enhancements on the 506.

i have this kit sitting on the shelf but have three issues that stops me;
1) I never managed to get insulators as the ones who have them refused to sell to me because of the CIS cutout. I will overcome by not having any insulators.
2) Then I don't have a vacuum manifold for MAP. Just make one or are there available to buy ?
3) I don't see anything I like for oil catch can. Anyone know of any self draining ones ? I have one that drains back to the sump on the plane and it works very well but never found anything similar for the SC. Some company in Australia had one but no longer sell it because of low demands
