Air Flow Sensor

I am about to install a new AFM and Throttle Position Switch. I have no shop manuals but it appears to be a basic "remove and replace" operation. Are there any hidden pitfalls that I need to be on the lookout for? Or any tips for that matter?

No it's easy. When you install the TPS it needs to be adjusted so that when the throttle plate is closed you hear a "click" as the switch is depressed.

What's wrong with the factory preset? If the original plug has not been drilled and the cover is intact, then why monkey with it?

I have just dropped one in and had it work fine, even passed emissions with flying colors.

I specifically looked for one that had not been adjusted before. Meaning that the adjustment screw cover was in place, and that the top still looked sealed.
