As for Facebook; can anyone name one good thing that has come from that POS social media site?
I had a account for two/three days when it started and closed it. Constant emails about "do you know this person?" "Can we access your contact list", ect. It's not for me.
I would never have a facebook account again.
And when it started it did nothing but cause relationship issues and drama.
It still has done nothing but cause drama. I was recently informed there was a local dispute in my friends neighborhood that ended up in a fight because some local D-Bag, millennial, pervert was following High School girls on FB. The guy is single, no kids and one of those Type A Ferrari driving business types. And the looser is following HS girls in the neighborhood,WTF! None of this crap would happen if that EFFING site was shut down.

People need to unfollow everything and stop using that site.

Never in history have we had a bigger arsehole in the White House who is willing to punish the residents of a whole state because the majority voted for his challenger 4 years ago. His whole “if you aren’t with me you are against me” will be his downfall. People are waking up to the fact that he just doesn’t give a damn about average Americans. All he cares about is ratings and winning bigly. He’s unfit to govern.

I agree, but it goes both ways. Pelosi and Trump with their personal dispute is hurting everyone.
And we have the same guy Governing CA with the White House in his sights. His personal dispute with Disney is hurting every entertainment park in CA. That ripples from the employees to the suppliers and on down the line.

Pelosi isn't President. You're being sold what they are selling. Mitch wouldn't pass the bill. Trump is blaming her, but ignoring that the other branch of the legislature also wouldn't do his version. Kind of like DACA and everything else Trump has failed to get done. He hasn't coordinated with his own party very much the last 4 years, and it's why even before Nancy and the Dems took the House in 2018 nothing got done. Trump is an incompetent negotiator and his one trick over and over again is to walk away from the bargaining table when he doesn't get his way.

Someone was shot in the head during the current administration..... someone was shot in the head during the past administration and someone will be shot in the head in the next administration..... History shows someone was shot in the head during Lincoln's administration....... what does that have to do with the fact that TODAY there is no common cause that will move us to a middle ground for the benefit of all..... Am I naive thinking that any issue could create a greater good moment..... yes very naive given that there has been so much "Brand" recognition created by being polarizing whether left or right....

as i mentioned i watched the social dilemma on netflix per nick's recommendation last night and what an eye opener. the algorithms and tracking of your specific clicks on subjects dictates what you are fed reinforcing what it is you actually believe to be true. accurate or not.

with what i saw last night there is no wonder we as a society may never come back to any semblance of common ground. the "united" in united states is gone for ever, or until there is something the likes of 9/11 to find a common enemy once again. let the record reflect i would under no circumstance hope for another tragedy like that, but there is little else to unite this fractured country.

im concerned, very concerned about the next 6-8 months as to what will unfold here. im not talking about the covid either, but that too is a concern now moved to 3 or 4 on the list.

Well said. Hopefully the looming depression will snap people back to a love thy neighbor understanding. If not, a lot of Americans are going to needlessly starve and die or just plain suffer a lot.
