the "overweight pig" G50 comes in handy - if you have to lend it to your teen-ager, or grandmother.
Are you calling my R 50-50 (RUF CTR/BTR III) an overweight pig too? That's not very nice is it?

With a loving yet angry freshly overhauled BTR motor behind her, I think she might shed a few calories real quick and with 6 gears too!

It’s 3 years carrera(87,88,89) a 1 year turbo(89) right?

And 964. And many people call the 993 a g50 too.

Ah! but let's not stretch it out. The OP never had that idea in his pocket. Keep it at the 911 level where it belongs. 964 and 993 were different configurations that need not apply here. Even Sugarwood would love a G50 if it would fit his car.

wtf? She's got one too many G-50s for me. Now MM or someone like that would love her to be his President. I wouldn't go so far as to say he'd put on the presidential knee pads though.

People who label a complete rust bucket shell missing engine and transmission, a "Survivor".

911heaven,
Oops. Wrong thread. ;-)
After re-reading the topic I must agree. The G50 is not the best gearbox. It may have a shorter shift and be able to handle more HP, but the trade off is extra weight. My experience with 915 Gearboxes has been hit and miss. Mostly hit. I actually prefer the 901 and 911 gearboxes.

That's OK! I'm gonna stick with my G-50, rather RUF R50-50. Got the BTR RUF engine behind like I said and with 6 gears, not worried about any weight issue.

That''s what you call a free double back bump! Babe in a bungalow with a huge rack and scoliosis to boot! Does she have a G-50 or not? Leaving it to your imagination...
