Opinions on value?

Considering selling a highly modified 911 widebody conversion/ turbo conversion. Specs are:
79 911SC steel widebody conversion, no sunroof.
3.1 SC-L euro motor 9.5:1 compression 97mm pistons with turbo cylinders, carrera oil cooler
Carrera heads, carrera intake, 850cc injectors, currently running E85, coil on plug using ford EDIS modules, AEM high flow fuel pump, KkK K27 7200 turbo running 10 bs of boost, Custom full bay intercooler, greedy blow off valve, tial F41 wastegate. 930 j pipe going to carrera heat exchangers, custom straight Through exhaust. Microsquirt ecu to run it all, Car put down 402 rwhp and 360 ft lbs torque
Turbostart AGM battery
AC system renovation consisting of new denso compressor, custom front fender condenser, custom rear fender condenser, keuhl upgraded front condenser. Custom made barrier hoses.
Suspension
Sway away front and rear torsion bars(don't know the specs)
Elephant racing polybronze rear spring plate bushings
Rebel racing front suspension bushing set
Blistein HD front strut assemblies
Blistein sport rear shocks
Lowered below euro height
Brakes
Boxster front and rear calipers with carrera front rotors. Rebel racing brake caliper adapters and stainless lines
Wheels
Forgeline GA3 18x8.5 front 18x10 rear with Michelin pilot sport tires 235/40/18, 275/40/18 rear.

Body is in ok shape. There are a few blemishes on the body, the yellow is non original, but presents well. There is some rust on the front fenders there they meet the cowl. And a decent scratch on the front bumper. I put on a new bumper smile a few months ago. The car has decent H4 headlights.

Interior
Dash out of 964 with larger vent opening
86 carrera front buckets
Nice real leather Door panels and rear quarters.
Lightweight carpet kit
Porsche CD-R 220 CD player with kicker door, and rear deck speakers, along with a kicker 8" powered subwoofer under the passenger seat.

transmission
Just went through the transmission after 2nd gear exploded, I installed the CMS bearing retainer, 1st and 2nd synchros, and 1st to 2nd selector sleeve. Shipped. Case off to CMS for a mainshaft bearing race fix. Sachs steel pressure plate with new clutch disc.
Will post more pics. Most of my pics are too big to post
I am looking for opinions as to the value of this car. The wife and I are interested in some lake property and wanting to sell.

I'm going to say this ride is worth 50K or thereabouts. It's got lots of nice suspension stuff and will appeal to the guy that wants a 930 but can't stomach the 75K+ to get into one.

You probably have lots more invested in this project than that, but the reason why it doesn't fetch more is the engine choice in my opinion. If I was to build a 930 clone, I would want to use a 930 motor (I did just that with my Turbo Targa), and go from there, which means fitting the car with turbo trailing arms, turbo brakes, and the 4 speed turbo trans rather than a 915.

The 3.1 is an extremely odd engine choice for this build and will put a lot of people off even though it appears all the right boxes were checked on the build.

This motor makes significantly less HP than my built 3.3, which has all the Turbokraft bits and a twin scroll turbo and billet IC (500WHP).

The plus side is at 50k it is a TON of car for the money and great looking to boot. Any more money than that and one can exceed your car easily by picking up a bagged 930 (Beverly Hills has a race car trashed 930 for mid 60s, but it is still an actual 930).

Keep in mind, I am only running 10lbs of boost. It's a 9.5:1 compression engIne. I believe I could turn the boost up a little more, but it's plenty fast the way it is. I don't think I know of anyone making 500rwhp on 10lbs The block is stamped 3.1, so this is a rare factory 3.1. As far as I know, the bottom end is all original since the cylinders do not have the cooling fins on the top. Maybe I am my own worst critic, but I think you are being very generous at $50k.

Where is the block stamped 3.1? This is a really odd displacement. No fins on top = 3.3 turbo cylinders.

Well a real nice SC goes for 35K or so, so maybe 15K for mods, and then work it down from there. Seems fair to me. No one is touching this performance level for that money, I'm sure it's fast...

Not to sound like a broken record but... Sell the wheels separately and put on some stock Fuchs.

I agree with Catorce. $50k range is a good price. If it were a 74 or 75 I would be interested in the car for that price. There are a couple style changes I would make to suite me.
But the 79 emissions limits where you can sell it and it would be one more emissions issue car for me to deal with in CA.
At 50k you have a clean car that is pretty much done and fast! Someone looking for a hot rod is looking at $25-35k cars that need $30k in parts to match that car.
Then there are the emissions free long hood hot rods that all want $65-120k.
I think someone would definitely want yours for $50-56k.

Another in the $50k range. Looks like a sweet car. That 3.1l engine is super rare and interesting. I personally don't think the buyers for this car will have a problem with the wheels. This car isn't for the purist and while I don't personally care for speed/fly yellow cars, the 993ishness of it mates well to that style of wheels.

Again, yes, the wheels are horrendous and you will take a price cut with them on no matter what. I know it's the most easily reversible thing on most deals where horrendous wheels are involved, but if the seller wants top dollar, then they need to reverse them.

You're showing your age Sal. Those are a good set of modern wheels that appeal to a lot of people.
They are a modern version of the BBS wheels everyone loved in the 80's. I think they fit the car style just fine; especially with the side vents.

Edit. ^^^ Yes. If they let you set a $50k reserve.

The only thing I take offense with is "They are a modern version of the BBS wheels everyone loved in the 80's." I am an '80s guy through and through, and when I was a teenager in the '80s I didn't like them then and I don't like them now.

"Oh, those are the worst-looking wheels I ever saw. What, when you buy wheels like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh? Oh, they look good on your 911 though.”

If I sell on BAT my reserve will be half of that I'd say

That's what I would do, or no reserve at all.
