I paid top dollar for my SC at the time. It was cheap by half of todays standards.
Good luck!

Car is in for a PPI and so far it looks good. Please let me know if you see anything on the pics below. Liking the factory rear wiper, spoilers and locking diff... Any and all thoughts are appreciated:

It has had a R134 conversion, so it is probably worth checking the thoroughness of the conversion.
Not a real sticking point on a PPI -- but it would be nice to know if it got new barrier hoses or not. If it was just Viton 0-rings, a flush, and a new dryer, it is going to need a refrigerant top-off every 3-4 months. May not matter much in PA, but I BAKED driving mine from DC to Hershey, and it was tough getting the wife back into it after. Looks like a nice car. Hope it works out!

looks like a nice G50, congrats. and love the wing! some fuchs and you're golden! i think at 50K, that was a hell of a buy. with fuchs, that car would fetch an easy 60K+ here in CA. Cheers!

Humm
Do not like those wheels on a Carrera, is the corrected dated Fuchs with the car? Under the car looks odd, never seen a cleaned pans like that with the paint outlined. Pans are not like that, looks like a aggressive power wash, should not have done that |

Car is in my garage and perfect! Except for the wheels...
If you are referring to this pic: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads26/Porsche81516041067.jpg That’s factory overspray.

Dan, looks like a great car...And yes, that underside is exactly the way the factory did 'em...Nice that they washed off 30 years of dirt!
Congrats! |

It’s fine
I own a 88 and 89 and to me it’s ok under the car, but someone cleaned off any factory applied material, looks like just raw metal and bleeding thru is the red paint on the panel gaps.
Good thing it was not painted |
