I believe it was 170hp. And for a car that small...

I believe it was 170hp. And for a car that small that is supposed to be a sports car it needs to go on a diet. My car is of similar size and is 400 lbs. lighter with a heavier VR6 as an engine.

It just quiets down the exhaust. I guess you could say it is like a small muffler. They don't really effect the flow of the exhaust, but they definitely quiet it down.

You gotta look at the weight of the cars you mentioned to. The 944 Turbo weighs around 2900-3000 lbs. The mustang and Camaros weigh well over 3400 pounds. It makes a big difference.
