I believe it was 170hp. And for a car that small that is supposed to be a sports car it needs to go on a diet. My car is of similar size and is 400 lbs. lighter with a heavier VR6 as an engine.

You gotta look at the weight of the cars you mentioned to. The 944 Turbo weighs around 2900-3000 lbs. The mustang and Camaros weigh well over 3400 pounds. It makes a big difference.
