while my mind's 914 oriented.. i met a guy named Alan here in Huntington, he's a rider, but also has a 914-6 (2.7)..

i'll have to call him up to see if he wants to drive his 914 on 9/14 to show...

just a note, i'm not sure if i stated in the previous posts, but the pads and calipers in the picture are comparing volvo 240 turbo calipers vs. the 911 M-calipers, not the 914 stock, nor the BMW...

Question wing pedal?

is this one of those pedals that has a "wing" on the bottom, toward the left, and sits roughly right below the brake pedal?..

i think this is a bad idea, because of the way the 914's pedal is...

i think Brad's point would be even more applicable if someone were to make a bolt-up NOS system.. i tend to think people will blew their motors up easier with NOS, than with a turbo..

ok.. went out to test the new external wastegate.. :) 16.07psi @ 5736rpm in 3rd gear before pinging and short shifting on 6 months old 92 octane (short shift, meaning the motor was still pulling...

yes, the turbo was custom, built in my own garage, first with an oxy-ace torch, then with a mig (made things go faster, but uglier, wish i had a tig at my disposal)

i don't think i'd be into mass...

it's a personal preference.. but after seeing your car.. i'd say you can probably get away with it, with the flares clipped on and all.. the paint scheme'd probably go well with it..

i've got a supertrapp tip that's already welded...

i've got a supertrapp tip that's already welded to fit the flange for the hunter headers, plus an O2 sensor bung.. i don't have any discs for it, nor the 6 bolts that hold it in, but everything else...
