I'd say replace anything rubber, especially fuel and soft brake lines.
I suspect the suspension bushings are toast as well due to rubber aging.

I don't think the clutch has any way of know anything about the system pressure if it is a stock AC system.
A hi-low pressure switch would be needed, unless I am missing something.

These were stop gap measures to satisfy the ridiculous emission requirements at the time. Engines had to run hotter to pass the tests.
