That car sounds like mine ('96 with just under 30k miles). I would definitely recommend a PPI. You get peace of mind if it checks out (like mine) and negotiating leverage if there are issues...

That car is no bargain. It has had at least 3 owners (original, plus 2 since the fire), it had a fire, and it appears minimally optioned. It also has 57k miles.
